Shiny Ion Max??? How's it look?

Out of the box the Storm Ion Max is chalky at a 2000 grit finish. Sometimes that can be too much on a house shot or lower volume pattern and cause the ball to burn all of its energy up early on the lanes. So how do we fix that? We throw it on a bowling ball spinner for 30 seconds per side with a fresh 1000 grit Genesis pad, then go over the top of that with Storm's Rough Edge compound. Then we take it out on the lanes and see if it gives us a shape we're happy with or not. Let's take a look!
