Do you have any suggestions for those in states with harsh sales tax laws with respect to coins/bullion? I’ve been looking to get into physical gold but tax makes anything less than 1oz prohibitive.
Ответить👍
ОтветитьTempted to buy more bullion, but at a certain point if you are PM bull why not focus on putting money in senior miners. Especially those that pay a decent dividend.
Ответитьnice overview! apprecate it
Ответить“I just buy them to keep things interestingly. Sigh. If only.
ОтветитьI usually pick up britannias is different sizes
ОтветитьI'm surprised you don't have a $20 pre 33 Saint..
ОтветитьThanks for the video. I was able to pick up a Buffalo last weekend for a low premium. It’s a nice addition to my herd.
ОтветитьAnother Great Video! I really like the Pert mint coins but I got to finish this tube of Buffalo's first. I will celebrate that accomplishment with a cool design coin lol! Looking forward to your next video!
ОтветитьI've been buying 1/2 oz's lately and putting more money into energy.
ОтветитьCoach, how big do you think the difference between selling a well known coin (maple, eagle) as a coin and selling unknown coin with absolutely no market for its gold content only would be usually? because I guess you can still always sell n anonymous coin for its gold content... (after a loss though)
ОтветитьI pretty much agree with you right down the line! I just picked up another Buffalo yesterday at a new LCS for me. Right at 6%, so I was happy and may have a new LCS!
ОтветитьI would buy the buffalo or the eagle, but the problem is, it's just way to expensive here in Canada, the Perth mint bars are usually always cheaper then the maple leaf or the bars
ОтветитьShow me a coin that has 1/2 the security features as the Britannia. I dare you to show me 1 that has 1/4 and the premium is the lowest PERIOD
ОтветитьOnce Biden completely stuffs your country, England will take back control, the way it should be. We Australians shall assist as always. The Canadians and Kiwis can no longer be trusted, but once done, we can get the Queen on the back of the buffalo and you will be happy. The Perth Mint shall then produce your buffalo and then it won't look so dodgy. God Save the Queen.
ОтветитьThis is just my opinion, when gold and silver will reach astronomical prices which they 100% WILL (won't mention how much cuz people will think I'm crazy)IT WONT MATTER WHAT KIND WE HAVE, WE WHO OWN PM's first purchased it as a hedge which it will always be, and protect purchasing power which also will always be. BUT NOW!!, I SERIOUSLY THINK WE WILL ALSO MAKE A FORTUNE ALONG THE WAY !!! AGAIN!, JUST MY OPINION
ОтветитьWhat an awesome display! That is how it's done. Thanks bro
ОтветитьGold Eagles for me, not a big fan of the Buffalo (when i see the gold Buffalo i think it's just a gold round, that's just me). Honestly i wish there was a 24k option for the Gold Eagles as well as the 22k. However i will only be stacking Gold Eagles to begin with when the time is right, perhaps the Maple Leaf or a Britannia longer term.
ОтветитьSo let me ask this to those who have been doing this for years. What type of deals have you seen for Black Friday sales? When do they start advertising those deals? Is there an online dealer that typically has better sales/prices than others? This would be my first Black Friday for precious metals and I’m a bit curious what I can expect. Thanks for any info.
Another good video, thanks for sharing part of your stack. It’s always fun to see the gold.
I think the best gold coins are the ones we hold in our stacks! I love them all!
ОтветитьNice array of Gold Coins 2 is 1
ОтветитьI’m waiting to buy the 2022 Perth Mint ‘myths and legends’ dragon when it comes out. They tend to have a limited mintage compared to the other bullion coins, and I’m in Australia so the premium on those is the same as a kangaroo. Nice content btw, been watching for a couple of months.
ОтветитьLet'sGo Brandon coin?
ОтветитьWho TF wants dirty gold? oh that one has been cleaned, hell yea i dont want any old nasty ass dirt on my old coins.
remember you clean the coin its been "cleaned" , if professionally "cleaned" its called restored... its a scam.
👍
ОтветитьHey, I would recommend you to keep an Eye on Czech bullion coins. There are currently two of them: Czech Lion, which is fancy coin with premium quality and premium price (really nice coin, pick one copy if you can)
And Tolar (Dollar is from Czech historical coin Tolar) - those are starting now and are planned to be more of a high mintige billions. And Tolars will probably be minted in US, so it should be an easy pick up for both Europeans and Americans
Im a kangaroo man. Love the look
ОтветитьThose Maples sure are beautiful.
ОтветитьThe Buffalo, in having a somewhat rugged and simple design, is my favourite gold coin possession. Being in the UK, I have concentrated on CGT-free coins like the Britannia's, Queen's Beasts (+Completer) and Sovereigns, but I do like variety. This includes designs from several other countries, all this year's purchases coming from crypto profits (I'm glad to say, now having tangible value), my most recent being the R.M. Maid Marion and Robin Hood, English Myths Series, and St Helena Queen's Virtues-Victory Coin.
I wish the Philharmonic, with all its splendid orchestral instruments, had a deeper impression (on both sides) and have never liked the tapered, radial lines on the Kangaroo background/field. I do like the Kruger colour with copper added. Still, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, they say. Oh yes, I also avoid the obverse of my UK, Aussie and Canadian coins, the next likely monarch's image even more so - our Richard the Lionheart (shown) having been a real king - leading the fight against our would-be invaders on horseback. Unlikely these days, I know :-)
Great choices!! I like the smaller diameter coins but don't like anything wider than 32 mm The Philharmonic gold is as wide as the silver. I think 38 mm. Crazy. Great video sir.
ОтветитьJust convinced my Wife and my Mom to join me in a race to see who can fill up a tube of 1/4 oz. American Gold Eagles first. You're my favorite precious metals account I follow and I always enjoy your content! Thanks for all the great info 🙏💪
ОтветитьLowest premium coins at the local coin shop is how I usually roll unless it’s some sort of little known design. You wanna stack stuff that people will recognize-
ОтветитьBase of the stack? The base is the metal itself in my opinion. Theres way too much variety to have a single base coin.
STEADY STACKIN
Not based in America, in my opinion in addition to your advice you would be wise to have kruggerands in your base stack.
ОтветитьI’m boring. I only buy gold to establish my foundation: fractional AGEs in 1/2, 1/4, and 1/10 (I know—outrageous premiums, but I have some extra 💸 to burn each month). Then I buy 1/4 gold Canadian Maples.
ОтветитьTiger is easily the best one. There will always be opportunities to get the normal stuff but that Tiger is fierce, handsome and truly unique. Britannia is the best of the standard coins with a non-changing design. Security features and the Britannia design is far more interesting and visually appealing than the Eagle, Buffalo, Maple. The 2021 Kangaroo is very beautiful. I'm undecided on the 2022 Kangaroo.
ОтветитьI just got my second 1/4 ounce maple. I also have a 1/10th Kangaroo. I am going to get a 1/4 maple every month moving forward. Such a fun way to save I've never been able to save money in my life hopefully this works I think it will since it scratches my spending obsession at the same time lol
ОтветитьI wish that the Canadian mint would take [that] effigy of the Queen off their bullion, it must an insult to her.
ОтветитьMust say I am in love with precious metals! :) Thanks for another informative video. What do you think about the Philharmoniker? A beautiful coin in itself I find.
ОтветитьI am new stacker for long term investment.
I purchased 3-1 oz Gold American Eagle, 2 tubes of 20 coins- 1 oz Silver American Eagle and second purchased of 5-1 oz Canadian Maple leave.
Now I am waiting for price goes down.
It is too expensive over $1900-oz.
I am watching your clips to educate myself new things.
I check on sell back price on coins and compare price to purchase now kind of high.
What is the brand of the knife?
ОтветитьGood~~^^
ОтветитьQuestion, how does the tension between Russia and Ukraine effect the price of gold? Or will it not?
ОтветитьCan you please do a video (if you haven’t done it) on when to sell a gold or silver and how long do I keep it till I can sell it. What are the signs that it’s time to sell? Do I keep it for 8 months? 10 years? Do i give it to my grand kids? What if I don’t have any to give it to? Greatly appreciated it.
ОтветитьNow I really confused!
ОтветитьI was wondering how much consideration you put into mintage number (i.e. low mintage collectible series coins) when you choose your purchases? james from GA
ОтветитьGreat video and great looking gold
ОтветитьBuffalo should have a purer gold content than eagle 🦅
ОтветитьSo beautiful coins. Thanks for sharing
