Protectionism such as tariffs only pushes up the price of imports. So if you buy local, you are not damaged by it.

Bloody crazy that Britain made the first computers but to keep them secret from the ussr we dismantled them at the end of the war and then GAVE the plans to the americans. That's just how short sighted we are in the UK. We led the world in technology and we gave it away and turned our backs on and victimized people like the great intellectual hero of ww2 Alan Turing. Disgraceful lack of empathy and foresight that persists in all departments of the UK government today.

The canada liberals is tge one pushing their citizens.
Trudeau closed the border. He went after citizens by using the emergency act. That the courts have said was illegal.
Biden the liberal president and eu caused the Ukraine war. Eu never stopped using Russian gas and didnt raise defense spending. Biden did a terrible with the Afghanistan pull out. Leave billions in Afghanistan.
Your liberal government cant see the sexual gangs and arresting people for silent prayer.
The birtish government stimes British small businesses. These us business are ready to go because they grow up big in the us.
Personal i dnt see how anything gets done un Britain with counsels and government trying to stop everything. Britain needs to wake up.
You guys are smart, why is the right winning every where now. First clue, dnt attack your own citizens.

Why haven't any Western company create an equivalent of TikTok? This way we could ban TikTok easily. I'd also suggest to legislate to separate content providers and contact displayers with a clear API.

It has become increasingly clear that the USA is an empire with imperial pretensions. This has been a quiet reality since 1945. Now it is explicit.

Turkey and Turan project is invaluable prospect for Britain 🇬🇧
It is about our future

We already invested in Azerbaijan
Ukraine for 100 years

As I am aware
Mr Trump is pro British 🇬🇧 president
If it is really true
Then
Anglo Saxon union is reality
But
We need Turan against China and Russia
Suez Canal is part of our strategy in the Middle East

Russia is run by black rock

For UK citizens to work for American companies there has to be some form of agreement, deal or treaty. Trump reneges on deals, treaties and agreements, so what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Anyway we've now got Aldi's and Lidl's to ease American departure.

Brexit was billed as independence from the EU which had not been a problem. Bent bananas, unhappy fishermen, redtape.
Trading with the EU where it is still possible now involves lengthy and demanding paperwork.
Leaving the EU has pushed the UK towards the US where traditionally the UK followed the US lead. Except for the Vietnam war thanks to Harold Wilson. The Iraq war was a nonsense where Blair repeated US lies in a reaction to 9/11. The possibility that 9/11 was a Russian style outrage by agent provocateurs is a worrying possibility given Putin's and the fsb managing of Trump and exploitation of Boris Johnson.

One thing the US and UK have in common is a plethora of oligarchs and a plethora of offshore tax havens for those oligarchs wishing to reduce or avoid their tax liability. Voting is now so drying of a formality managed through social media.

Am Iwrong in saying that tariffs are payed by importers. So it would be the consumer of those imported goods who pays. Imorted goods from europe would be subject only the tariffs we impose. If that's true how can tarriffs placed on Europe by the USA make goods more expensive for the uk consumer?
