You need to cut the heavy handed music from behind the acting samples. Musical scoring behind film guides and supports the emotion intended by the dialogue, as surely as the lighting does. This relentless heavy-assed dragging refrain is emotionally tainting every one of these clips, as well as making the subtle nuances of speaking volume harder to hear. Just use what the movie itself used, or nothing at all.

I would like to add Daniel Day Lewis, the scene where he refuses to sign his name in the crucible and Rutger Hauer's final speech in Blade Runner.
