I love my 450h+. Getting more like 50 miles on a full charge. Outside of a road trip I think I’ve filled up my tank 3 times in the last 9 months. We also have a CX9 and I can say Mazda def punches out of its weight class
ОтветитьPlease....do not place Mazda in the same tier as Lexus and Acura...it is insulting
ОтветитьMy 2014 MDX still drives like new.
ОтветитьI wouldn’t buy either but if I had to, I definitely would buy a Mazda CX-70, the Acura RDX known as a Rubbish Acura with break system failure and infotainment failure and especially with V6 Cylinder deactivation system failure and transmission issues, and Lexus Are Very reliable that will breakdown frequently and ultra money pit than my Cadillac 😂, turbocharged fault and overheating engine, transmission issues, too small and too slow vehicle, and the quality interior is crap, but with a Mazda I can this I way more reliable than Toyota itself, with a Straight 6 cylinder it’s fantastic engine and fun to drive
ОтветитьLexus, clear winner
ОтветитьI was very interested in the cx 70 but after watching a thorough mechanical reciew by the car care nut reviews, I saw how rigged the transmission setup with the engine that I did not like. Way over - complicated manual transmission with a manual clutch converted into an automatic transmission which can actually disengage while at highway speeds. This is experimental trouble waiting to happen. I try to keep my vehicles in top condition and for as long as I can. I anticipate major problems with the Mazda's transmission and the Lexus 4 cylinder junk. Drive a 2022 rx with the v6 and you won't settle for less. I'm not happy with the fuel mileage of the mdx, but I buy a car to use it, for hauling people and many things to airports, football tailgates, school events, going to dinner and a show with family and friends, you name it, and after having nearly every major brand throughout our family including bmw and benz, ford, g.m. and chrysler, our most confidence came from hondas and toyotas. It is also very important to think about resale value if you buy it. The German vehicles fall off the charts after 5 years.
Ответитьpersonally found the CX70 seats very uncomfortable, and had a horrible dealership experience.
ОтветитьMazda all the way ❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьCX70 PHEV wins for me (if I ever needed such a big SUV).
ОтветитьMy choice would be the Lexus, because I've always wanted a Lexus 😂. I just bought a new to me 2021 highlander hybrid AWD Limited, with just 30k miles on it. So it'll be a while before I get my Lexus, if ever.
ОтветитьWhat about a 2024 Infiniti QX60. NA V6 and a traditional ZF transmission. Also, arguably the most competent awd system and best in class towing.
ОтветитьI’ve been shopping for a new car and have spent time is the Mazda, the Acura, then looking at used Lexus GX460s. The Mazda interior is mostly high quality and looks great. But disagree the Acura is the “least luxurious feeling”. Yes there is a lot of piano black plastic but it feels solid and think when tapped. The door and center console trim that looks like wood on the Mazda feels cheap and brittle when you tap you fingers on it. Also, so much flex in the headliner when closing the sunglasses holder. Not deal breakers but it was built to a budget. The MdX feels like a tank inside. The Mazda exterior panel fit was definitely the winner between the two. Acura is really good but the Mazda exterior is really assembled well. Almost GX460 well
ОтветитьYou never mentioned the mild hybrid system in the Mazda six cylinder.
ОтветитьAnother none informative video without facts and in-depth objective comparison. We are fighting for good over all none good. Even word bad is lost it’s actuality over this vanity but at the same time Lexus which is smooth and most reliable has issue with its engine and zillion of recalls include v6. It’s true that Lexus can offer ventilated seats on the second row but only Acura has air suspension… it’s very very surface based..
ОтветитьMazdas ❤❤
ОтветитьBack at the end of August, I traded in my 2022 Mazda CX-5 to start a lease on the PHEV CX-70, only put 1100 miles on it so far, but, hands down an amazing vehicle, especially because of the amazing incentives and MSRP discount Mazda was offering…I love this vehicle
ОтветитьHow in the name of all that is holy u can justify comparing mdx(having 100s of recalls) and Mazda having ZERO RECALLS???
ОтветитьMdx reliable? Just Google "acura Christmas tree " and mdx driveshaft
ОтветитьBefore getting any of those, just go and test drive and compare the space and all the features with Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy and you’ll be surprised how much better it is than any of these three.
ОтветитьMazda❤
ОтветитьLexus/Toyota all day
ОтветитьLexus hands down. No questions. I keep my car for a long time. There is no doubt about Lexus is my choice
ОтветитьMazda all the way, reliable & powerful
ОтветитьEnjoying my Mazda!
ОтветитьPulled the trigger on the CX70 (Inline 6) 3 months ago. I was gonna go with the RX350 but with the current prices of insurance now and being the lexus more expensive and have to put premium gas (Non Hybrid model), It was a no brainer for me. I did a 550 Km roundtrip in the CX70 and i managed to get 6.8L/100 km! And don't forget too, All CX70's are Built in JAPAN!
ОтветитьI trust the Acura more than the others at the moment. That bulletproof V6 is great. The other two cars have relatively new turbo engines that I don't see lasting longer than the V6.
ОтветитьLexus is the clear winner here for sure
ОтветитьOf the more than a dozen YT reviews of my new vehicle, the CX-70, yours is the best, man. You didn’t criticize the display interface for ONLY supporting a touchscreen when in Android Auto/Apple CarPlay (conscious safety decision Mazda made). You didn’t question marketing a mildly modified (2-row) version of a CX-90 as an all-new model, the CX-70. If anybody’s actually paying attention to your content they’ll get that as good as some aspects of the Lexus RX lineup are, as well as updates to Acura MDX, the real vehicle value shocker here is Mazda’s latest creation. Get over obsession with particular brand names and see things for what they truly are, and not just the way teams of marketers would have you believe that they are!
ОтветитьI'm frugal, but not cheap. The CX-70 is the best car for the money, especially in an industry in which depreciation % from purchase price is so extreme.
ОтветитьAcura mdx wins
ОтветитьCX-70 takes the cake unless you want maximum luxury, then the MDX win. The Lexus win at nothing. The Lexus looks like a Toyota. The MDX is the best looking one on the outside, the Mazda is the best looking one on the inside. Quite honestly, the Mazda CX-70 PHEV is the best deal. I own an MDX, I love it, but the Mazda CX-70 is a close second choice, only thing I didn't like about the hybrid is it shifts gears in electric mode....weird.
ОтветитьMazda doesn’t belong to these group of cars!…
ОтветитьMazda screams "Bang For Buck"!
Lexus whispers "Subsided Elegance"
Acura promises, "Luxurious Sportiness".
MAZDA for me.
The Mazda is pretty but the newer engine concerns me as it isn’t battle tested. Additionally, not a fan of the track wheel (is that what it’s called?) Would prefer a touch screen which isn’t dependent on Apple car play. Bummed because I do like the price but for me, these just might deal breakers. Leaning towards the Acura MDX S type. Love the air suspension and performance. Thanks for this informative video!
ОтветитьMdx is the clear winner that funking lexus is ugly man
ОтветитьChevy Traverse or Buick Enclave
ОтветитьMazda is premium at best, not luxury.
Also, as much as I love Lexus. They are just boring. Omg like sooooo boring. 😴
I’ll take my chances with my BMWs love em and the reliability has gotten amazing over the past 8 years. I own two 9 year old n55 engined BMWs and literally no issues not a leak on sight.
Don’t buy a bmw if you’re going to defer maintenance, or if it’s had deferred maintenance. That’s the key. 🔑

Really nice video.
ОтветитьThe PHEV gives you better performance actually, just heavier so not as good handling.
ОтветитьI owned an Acura for years that I put 212,000 miles on and in that time other than having 2 transmissions fail on me it was reliable. Wife owned a Lexus for 5 years during which the drivers seat cushion collapsed, rear view mirror auto dimming failed, water pump failed, and drove like a Toyota nothing made us feel like we were driving a luxury car. Next bought a Mazda CX-9 because the MDX was too small and was significantly more $, owned that for 10 years not one thing wrong with, drove amazing but mpg was 17. I recently bought a Q7 when I looked at MDX, MDX was more money, smaller interior space and I hated the center console layout. Have owned it for 2 years so far an amazing vehicle.
ОтветитьMazda's the winner as per host And our host always done his homework well
ОтветитьLexus service centers have way better than any other luxury or non-luxury car manufacturer experience
ОтветитьYour video seems biased for Mazda intentionally.
ОтветитьLEXUS has poor rating in crash tests. Rx has always fallen short in safety ratings. Considering number 1 cause of death is car crashes people should pay attention to safety ratings, but they don't.
ОтветитьMazda = Luxury ? Mazda in comparison with Acura & Lexus. How come. Lexus and Acura are different league.
ОтветитьMazda is the winner by far it's built on a different platform. It's has an inline 6 engine longitude mounted rwd bias with awd it has better balance higher top speed. For driving Mazda is the winner plus fully loaded is 10k less
ОтветитьHow about the refreshed 2025 infiniti qx60?
ОтветитьMazda wins by a mile! Lexus are just over priced Toyotas and Acuras are over priced Hondas!
ОтветитьAny of the three will be good. I guess it will be the exterior look that is really a subjective matter.
Ответить
