It's interesting that if we ever get rain remotely as heavy as this here in the UK. The majority of people will just run for cover. But the fantastic people of the Philippines just carry on and stand outside as if it's nothing at all. & the youngsters simply have fun & enjoy themselves 🤣 i love the Philippines 🇬🇧💙🇵🇭

I wonder who's more impoverished. Overweight American kids that can't even name the first president, unable to make friends in person and can't even ride a bike or these "impoverished" kids that are smiling, laughing and playing. They all look well fed, healthy and wearing clean clothes. 🤔

Watching people in the rain wondering if they are happy. You can't tell what's really going on but they are in the rain. Maybe they have each other that makes a difference. Not sure. I'm not judging, just wish maybe how would I help, if it's needed. I can't compare my life to theirs. If I'm there, be courteous. Who knows, despite the conditions, they may have more than I do.

I dread to think what these floods are doing to the sewers and what effect this must have on the health of the local population.

How can you purchase a motor bike out there? Are they expensive? Everyone seems to have one?
