First one
ОтветитьSerious? Who's asking that?
ОтветитьThank you.....I plan to get a Searay when I move back home to Florida in 2 years....I love your vids....always great information. I really liked the one on your extended swim platform, I plan to do that...Thanks again :-)
ОтветитьGreat instructional video for those who aren't familiar with the separate shifter/throttle set up. I also think that the big lesson one can take from this one is patience. Too many times I see people trying to dock (or leave) using way too much throttle. Idle speed it is. What's the saying? "Don't go any faster than you're willing to hit something!" Thanks for sharing Paul.
ОтветитьGreat Video !
ОтветитьJust love your vids. Me and my wife are just going to buy our first boat together (sea ray) and we are so looking forward to the summer in Sweden. Thank you for your inspiration.
ОтветитьPerfect camera angle. Nicely done!!
Ответитьthanks for the video!
ОтветитьThanks for the helpful video! Do you have bow thrusters? I'm new to boating and was wondering if so how you would add these to your approach to maneuvering the boat.
ОтветитьAre the shifters always on the left side and throttle on right or does it depend on the boat?
ОтветитьSo basically, you need good eye hand coordination!
ОтветитьLove your videos. Lifelong boat owner moving up to a twin screw vessel here in the next few months. Fantastic handling skills-thank you!
ОтветитьAmazing video you really great and make it easy and professional thank you for sharing .
ОтветитьI feel you never answered the question...
ОтветитьSeems like they do the same thing 🤔
ОтветитьThank you very much for yours videos, greetings from Finland.
Here in Finland we have winter time and I can only look your videos, what will be next summer enjoy waiting for me.
I bought same Sea Ray 330 a month ago, there is bigger engineers 2X375 horsepower Mercruiser (496 Magnum).
Same time you teach me how I must use to the gears !
Will the boat let you shift in/out of gear when the throttles are anywhere besides idle? Thanks
ОтветитьOk, dumb question, but could you not do the exact same thing with integrated throttle and shift levers, or would they give you too much throttle by the time they engaged into forward or reverse?
ОтветитьThanks for posting! This information is strangely hard to find on the internet, and this video gave me the exact information I needed! Happy boating!
ОтветитьWhen initially pulling away from the dock and you're only using the Trans shifters r u at idle or minimal throttle.
ОтветитьAre shifters and throttles ALWAYS port and starboard? I have seen MY twin's where they are opposite and red knob vs black knob. Thankfully I played with detents with engines off. At least on that cluster F, absolute center was neutral as it clicked. The throttles kinda had detents but 4 stages of click and still able to roll on and off.
ОтветитьThrottles on starboard, shifters on port
ОтветитьYou have your controls backwards
ОтветитьGood job explaining this I had a 2005 Sea Ray 340 Sundancer with the same set up. I loved the system and control that it gave me.
ОтветитьI have always wanted to know how that works. Such a good video. My question is are the shifters related to the engines or the rudders. Also, if they are changing the gears in the engine, back and forth, does that damage them over time?
Ответитьthank you very much for creating this video - about to purchase my first boat, a 320 sundancer, and was curious at what position the throttles would need to be in while maneuvering. looks like most of the time they were in idle to move around as needed through the marina and especially in and out of the slip.
ОтветитьTy, but you didn't do any explaining as you executed
ОтветитьThanks for the video. I’ve always wondered this myself. Do you use your autopilot often? You should make a video on that
ОтветитьI see you didn't explain how changing the motor controls will to anything, i know in your other comments that you've explained it already but you just said in this video at the beginning you were going to explain what that two controls do. 🤷
ОтветитьPerfect thank you. Someone who gets right to the point. Not blowing their own horn and getting the point across. Great job!
ОтветитьI would not like that separate shifter/throttle setup. Maybe it’s because I’m used to it but the combined throttle & shifter setup seems a lot better. Do any new(er) twin engine boats still use the split setup?
Ответить
