Instead of saying that people who are against the eu turned to “right wing populist parties” why not say they turned to pro democracy parties.
Also peace in Europe probably had more to do with the 300,000 US service based there than eu. The eu has no military.
The only reason for an eu army is to do the one task a NATO army cannot and will not do, that is to put down pro democracy uprisings in eu member states.
