By studying the iconography and various forms we get better understanding of Hinduism. Before this video I had not known anything about this depiction of half Vishnu and half Laxmi. Bhagavan Vishnu is secular So Sri Ram was King of Ayodhya son of Kin Dasarath ,He mastered the skill of Ancient Archery . One could hear that In exile, King Rama fought with demons or rakshas eventually He fought King Ravana to mark the glorious victory over good vibes . In exile ,He and his company may not consumed non vegetarian permissible level. They weren't alone and was surrounded by Brahmins who are mostly Vedic Sages , rishis . Non- vegetarianism was allowed Since the varnashrama dharma was evolved by wise men and Thinktank.

These are ugram vigrahas ...have strict rules....most people prefer the soumya vigrahas... We lost a lot we must try revive

The thing we fail to understand is- every form of diety has a particular "paddhati" of ritual worship. The way pooja is done to Narsimha is completely different from the way pooja is done to Rama or Krishna. These traditions developed over centuries and different branches of Vaishnavism evolved over hundreds of years.
If we have proper ritual framework to worship Vaikunta Vishnu or Vaikunta Kamalaja, Yes, we SHOULD revive these two forms of Vishnu worship on mass scale across India. But the real question is that- do we have these traditions surviving? Could anyone please answer this?

@Project Shivoham. Great work sir. If you want to get a darshan of Vaikuntha Kamalaja, please visit the Lord Jagannath temple in Puri. During the temple's closure at night (for Pahad rituals), you can see that the Kamalaja idol is worshipped, symbolizing that it is time for Lord Jagannath to sleep. The same half Vishnu and Lakhsmi idol with 8 hands made up of metal & few inches in size.

Great analysis and assessment on the Vaikuntha Vishnu concept. It was really an eye opener ! Also, I request you to correct a claim you made towards the end that Narasimha and Varaha temples are present only in Telangana and Andhrapradesh. I hail from Mangalore and I m proud to say there are many beautiful temples to these deities in Karnataka as well (Yoga Narasimha of Melkote and Devarayanadurga are just a few to mention here), and are worshipped in many households in the form Saligrama Shilas with specific pooja activities for each deity. There are many temples for both of them in Tamilnadu as well. Kerala may not have many as they popularly endure Krishna worship. While you analyse well on these topics, try to be neutral and not make claims that may lead to trouble. I m an ardent follower of your works, and advising as a friend 👍
