I still think the harsh criticism this movie gets is ridiculous. This movie deserves better criticism than it already gets and I feel like people just went into this movie with a lot of negative expectations to actually notice it’s really not that bad. But honestly I think it’s kind of expected for a series to start off with being more lighthearted and not have that much of a story like that’s how shows like Gravity Falls and Star vs. the Forces of Evil started and look at how phenomenal they became. So my suggestion to the actual critics of the movie to rewatch it and maybe look for some details that may give it more mystery and some new lore that kind of refreshes FNAF’s lore entirely and that is impressive that this movie kind of revived the mystery of this franchise. I mean not to mention we literally have a canon face reveal for both Mike Schmidt and William Afton.

So basically this movie is definitely a retelling of the original Five Nights At Freddy's series, while having some copied portions from the FNAF books The Silver Eyes and The Fourth Closet. For example, the death of William Afton in this movie is very much the same way William Afton died "the first time" in The Silver Eyes book and Abby's drawing is the same as Carlton's drawing from The Fourth Closet that caused the children's spirits to turn against William Afton, instead of being on his side.

This movie got big bonus points from me for both setting up and actual restaurant and by building real animatronics. Also love how the place started to collapse once Afton died, like there was a curse on it that could only be lifted by his demise.

Probably the most accurate spring lock failure, the spring locks didn't impale his lungs yet, making him able to say that cursed word that has haunted the fnaf fandom for years... Not only that, but not everyone screams out in pain when they are severely wounded.

As for the bleeding, the spring locks were closing the vessels from bleeding any further, and the blood was being soaked up by his clothing, or the fur of the suit.
