In August 2023, Hoekstra Electrical Services employees and family members teamed with SonLight Power on their second trip to Honduras. The trip made a lasting impact in the lives of those served and those serving.

Together with SonLight Power partners and volunteers in Honduras, the team used the power of the Son (Jesus) and the sun (solar power) to equip three schools with electricity for the first time in Honduran communities living with the spiritual and physical effects of energy poverty.
