I have never been to Disney before, and if I go, it’s likely to be a once-in-a-lifetime trip due to finances. I’d love to go with friends, but I’m scared of differing wants leading to a lot of conflict and resentment. I’ve been considering a solo trip but I’m still kind of on the fence. Thanks for the tips!

I’m planning a solo trip for October Ive never been before so that’s what kinda worries me. I have literally no idea what to expect like small things like what is Genie +, what is Lightning Lane, where do you park when you get to your resort, how dinner reservations work. Hopefully my travel agent can help me out!

Ty for this trip report. I will be on my first 70 yr old solo trip this September. I love the F&W festival and will probably spend most of my time there! Where can I find a list of rides that offer single rider sections?

Senior solo traveler. You are never alone. I stay at Pop Century, lots of solo travelers. Solo travelers look for each other & you can plan meals together if you prefer to not eat alone. Best part of my trip is sitting on the benches, chatting with others about our days. I use an ecv at the parks & resort. That gets tricky solo, but not difficult. Upgrade to a preferred room if you’re uneasy, stay on property and only use Disney transportation. See ya in May 24!

I just returned from doing a Christmas Disney solo trip and had a wonderful time. To feel at little more comfortable I stayed at the Disney Pixar Hotel and everyone there was so kind. Many of the rides have "single rider" lanes which made the wait time easier. I did everything I wanted to do and when -- lots of freedom. I never once had time to feel lonely -- way too occupied on just "taking in" the magic of Disney. Highly Recomended

Thanks for this, after considering if i should do my first solo disneyworld trip next year i think you made up my mind that i will be fine. Im 55 year old woman and ive been 4 or 5 times with my daughter, a year ago was the last time but shes married now and doesnt want me tagging along but i really want to do disney again!.. im quite familiar with disneyworld, ive never stayed on property before but i think your tip about staying on property is definitely something i will take kn board. Travelling from england i normally would do 2 weeks but i might just do 10 days and skip universal, that way i will be staying in the disney area. Thanks for the tips, i will book for next year. 🙂

I did some solo parts my last trip when I met up with my mom and her friend. Dinned at Skipper Canteen solo and it wasn't bad! I had to charge my phone so I wasn't working on reels and photos like I usually would but it gave me a chance to absorb the atmosphere of the restaurant and I loved it!!

Love this! It makes me feel more confident in going to Disney solo, especially being female. Safety is always a worry for me. How did you feel on the flight/at the airport?

Sci-fi is my favorite sit down when I’m on a solo trip, but getting a reservation for 1 at sci-fi can be a little tricky. When I went to book mine at 60 days out, they only gave me 2 options 10:45am & 8:45pm. However, the second I changed it to a a 2 person reservation it opened up possibilities throughout the entire day. On the other side of that, you are more likely to get a walk up spot as a single person too, so it’s just whether you’re willing to chance it. Love your videos!

Yay, so happy to see this! My first solo trip will be two days.. figured I'd keep it short in case I hate it haha.. then, I can plan a longer one in the future :)

How long did you have to wait to be dropped off on Mears Connect? I've done it before and had to hit several resorts before getting to my own, and I feel like it ate up so much time!
