ОтветитьThanks for sharing.
ОтветитьCan’t wait to hear and see it running down the road
ОтветитьSeriously, tired of videos showing cars and trucks being pulled out of barns or whatever. Dogs, yes! Explaining what is what and making things work is what we need more of. Rock on dudes.
ОтветитьThat sucker broke my back many times
ОтветитьCool ? In your head .. rough ride buddy.
ОтветитьI actually have a one year degree from General Motors on the 71 series engines. I think they were first developed in 1935 that's what sticks in my head. Timeless and still relevant.
ОтветитьJake brakes in town.... Well done losers
Ответитьwhich one did you buy? the long nose or cabover?
Ответитьhell yeah he talks like that ... jk razzing is epic fun

ОтветитьWhat an exciting day for you to find 2 - 12V71 trucks!! That unheard of, good for you!

ОтветитьBeautiful beautiful golden channel, I have a 1967 MCI x-greyhound with the 8V71 with a spicer 4 speed, 2 stage jake brake, the old fisherman that come up and love the sound the old girl makes , apparently they had Detroit powered fish boats off the east coast fishing grounds, nothing like the bark of the Detroit to send it , keeps on screaming eh 🇺🇸👍🇨🇦

ОтветитьA VT903. The only motor that leaks more oil than a Detroit. I fingerprinted quit a few of those. Lots of Detroit motors but no 12 cylinders.

ОтветитьThey always have a vent problem I ran out of fuel on my 8V92 vent plugged about every 3 years I had to replace the return line im guessing the fuel returning runs hot and deteriates the line😊
ОтветитьHat a Beautiful OLD Peterbuilt..!!..Detriot Powered..That NEEDS Restoring..
ОтветитьLove that old stuff
ОтветитьYeah He sounded like that
ОтветитьPeterbilts aren't the only ones with two stroke Detroit and there were more common in Kenworth than Peterbilts hell even Mack had two stroke Peterbilts back in the seventies 70s they all did
ОтветитьThat's when I first started driving was an old two-stroke Detroit I always sounded like a loader going down the road or a piece of logging equipment but I like the sound of them
ОтветитьBeast 💪
ОтветитьPurchased my buddy in nursing home at tablet
you were his first sub. Gotta remember he owned these beasts brand-new he pulled many huge Detroit rubber tire loaders to Baltimore headed overseas.
Awesome trucks
ОтветитьHelp Tim Gentry do something nice for his Dad !!!!
ОтветитьThere's nothing like a Detroit! I can still hear, 40 yrs later, when one of the local loggers hit a big hill out on the 2 lane about 2 miles away. I'd be geti g ready for school when ole Trapper would hit that hill wide open and drop about 6 gears by the time he got to the top. I believe it was an 8v71 in that old Autocar log truck. Strait piped, of course!
ОтветитьThe frame is jacked, rust jacked....
ОтветитьHi from Dearborn Michigan !
