2012 #5 Arthur & Guinevere Moment REVISED

This scene is so powerful, oh my God. Gwen's cries tugs at my heartstrings, Arthur's yells makes me want to cower in fear. Amazing performance from them both.

I feel like Gwen really cheated on Arthur at the first place. It’s because if she truly didn’t cheat on him, she wouldn’t accept Lancelot’s gift (bracelet) and most importantly she can resist it because in the scene with the tent, she ask herself what is she doing there. Of course the real Arthurian Legend, she did cheat on him.

This version of Merlin is the weakeat warlock of all time , the "Cursed" Merlin wouldve never let that happen.

This scene is haunting. It was one of Bradley James's most powerful performances in this series. And, in that moment, all Arthur's unlikability dies when his heart breaks.

You all feel for gwen i feel for arthur... he was so confused angry he didnt know what to do with himself ... gwen didnt have any sort of answer that made him even understand what had happen. He had to be strong for his people he had to set aside his emotions and he had to be the bigger person and not kill her

This scene hurt me so much......I thought Merlin would've found out she was under a spell...... it literally all adds up lancelot coming back out of nowhere I'm just so sad ............. the fact that it's been probably like 10 years from when merlin first arrived till this scen....

This was petty I understand that Arthur was going through a lot he just saw his wife kissing his best friend who he thought was dead but instead of talking things through taking a day postponing your wedding you chose to banish your wife make it make sense

in the books it is not Arthur who discovers Lancelot but it is Mordred who in fact tells him "Sir Lancelot, COME OUT OF THE QUEEN'S ROOM, TRAITOR"

What is the music in this scene

I love Arthur's nobility and dignity. He asked everyone to get out. He knew that that's between him and his fiancee. He didn't want to humiliate her in front of the others. He truly cared for her and really wanted to know what has changed in their relationship. Great acting Bradley james ❤

One of the saddest episodes and wonderfully acted by all.

How many people did he feel betrayed by, in the last episode after been badly wounded, he probably felt the biggest betrayal was from Merlin which I know he understood later but that was probably the biggest one of all

This was such a grown up scene, I loved it when I was a child

I have to give Arthur credit for some things. He didn't want to publicly humiliate Guinevere in the light of day.

He held his temper and started asking Guinevere how it came to all of the twisted drama.

He did not have Guinevere executed, he chose to banish her.

He instructed that Lancelot be buried properly after the latter took his own life.

Women have an eternal battle with accountability

What ever reason Guenevere has! She still cheat on Arthur. She and Lancelot deserve one another.

I was expecting Arthur to reply: “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn.”

I admire how he still gave her a chance to explain herself and tell her side, despite being understandably upset.

The most painful thing about this is neither of them figured out that it was a spell.
