They said the 250 main event yet I heard a few four strokes which means they had to be 450’s because the 250’s can’t win against the 2 strokes. This change and rules is the most moronic thing I ever ever seen. A 450 being allowed to race 250 class. They lost sales and nobody wants the 4 strokes yet to ride and race motocross they have to buy them but they also lost future generations of riders because the 4 strokes just won’t attract the youth. I have no idea WTH these people are thinking.

2 strokes just take more skill. I don't care what anyone says. 2 stokes were more entertaining to watch. They were more affordable to buy, run, and maintain for families who like ride. Plus they sound WAY cooler.

McGrath wasn't missing by choice for the last couple years. Yamaha kicked him to the curb for Vuilleman, why?... good question. And then his deal with KTM didn't go through. Jeremy had just won 3 championships in a row for Yamaha, and they hadn't even won since '81. They should've been loyal to him as their brand ambassador. Vuilleman? Really? Nobody cared about a frenchman winning in America. The only Frenchman we've ever embraced is Marvin Musquin at Redbull Straight Rhythm. But the point is, Yamaha totally screwed McGrath. We should have seen a couple more years out of him in his prime, but just like with JS7, the powers that be somehow managed to get in the way of greatness.

Just when u thought Ricky was unstoppable, James Stewart parachutes in.
Larocco and bale were good but these 5, wow.
Unbelievable, will God ever produce riders like bubba , Ricky, reed,, mcgrath and Wyndham again.

I hope the future stars watch this video and realise if you have determination and love dirt bikes, this is the product that will make people love you for being able to ride a dirt bike more than they could ever imagine.
It's called energy that keeps them alive and makes them look forward to tomorrow and most of all the kids look up to you as a hero.
They will dream about that and put there every last thought into being like them.
That's what you call being a star.
Great video, thanks for putting it together. It really made my day

@EarthSurferUSA

During his first few seasons in the States, (before James moved to the bigger 250 class), Chad Reed and RC had more battles for 1st place, (usually lapping the rest of the field), than any other "same amount of time" in SX history. Sure, there have been many great battles with other people, but not for the duration RC and Reed went at it. Now, with the FIM tracks keeping everybody the same speed, (as much as possible), we will never see such great racing for that long of a duration again. Back then, when the tracks separated the talent, (so we can really see who the best are), nobody in the world could touch RC or Reed for more than one race, (usually Windham), and today, the top 7 take turns winning, as if it is simply their turn, and the next week, they get about a 6th place finish,----like NASCAR.

Being a chunky, short, ginger freckled kid in school, RC had to be picked on a lot. And it pissed him off. So he became the winningest amateur racer before turning pro.
Then we said he was too short to win at SX,----and it pissed him off.
See what "bullies" can do for your motivation? :)

This is exactly how things would have been if Charmichael and James if James was on a 4 stroke during the motocross season. History would have been made way earlier. The powers that be kept James from being the dominant force of the sport by holding him back his first motocross season by allowing him to ride a 2 stroke.
