mark douglas is very good but it is very interesting see a reaction from professionals about these videos on internet about psychology,emotions etc involving trading.

It sounds simple enough, stick to the plan, pull the trigger when you're supposed to, and don't blow up your account.
But how do you know if you really have an edge or you're just lucky? You can stick to the strategy and execute trades perfectly but what if the strategy itself is actually bad, your previous winners were just you being lucky, and you actually didn't have any edge, how do you know when to stop and reconsider changing your strategy?

I’ve watched this three times now. Gold. Absolute gold. Thank you for doing this. So much life changing wisdom in here.

The biggest takeaway for me is that people can spend months or even years backtesting and paper trading different trading strategies trying to find the holy grail - but the truth is there isn't one. The market is completely random and that means that any single trading system at any given time even when all the stars align, can and will, still fail. There will be times when it's not uncommon to have a losing streak and the overwhelming urge would be to ditch that trading system and look for something else. Its usually not the system that's at fault but simply a lack of understanding and accepting that losing is very much part of the process of being a successful trader so that you never put too much risk on the table and stay in the game for the long run.

Disagree, it's not about whether traders will show up at certain patern its all about transferring money from the many to the few by trapping them then the pattern will play out with or without traders showing up or not.

Lol , why would you speed up the interview? I watched it before few times, but here it just hurts my ears. Have to pass on this video. Pity, cause I have high respect for M. Douglas and would love to hear your input on what he says. Rest in peace Mark.❤
