Scrolling around and found this video. I always like to hear opinions from people outside the USA about the USA. Yeah, there is no way of invading - citizens here are armed and most understand American interests (protect our homeland peacefully until otherwise) even if a few folks get manipulated by various media sources.

You misinterpreted Abraham Lincoln though - he was saying that no outside invaders with the whole of the world resources could take our country, therefore our only enemy is ourselves. If we were to perish, it would be through suicide…which sadly seems to happen more and more around election time.

Take a look at election advertising on television, and you’ll see that one side has gone super ugly to the point of scaring folks into voting for them by making the opposition look like Satan. These advertisements could definitely be run by outside the USA forces like China or Russia or Iran or North Korea in order to divide Americans. I for one would prefer regulations on advertisements restricting them to policy issues - and what that candidate plans to improve, with no mention of the opposition.

My fear is that we will be fighting a war we’re not prepared for as it will be beyond bullets and combat. If you haven’t read One Second After by William R. Forstchen, it’s an eye opening novel (series) for those of us not trained in war. Sadly, the area this novel takes place in has been decimated by Hurricane Helene. We have been seeing the worst and the best of folks in this area as this tragic decimation occurred.

the vid he watched kinda sorta touched base on this factor, but did miss the point... and L3WG did ask, 'what about the weather?' yes, the Mongols got their assets handed to them with 3 count em 3 amphibious invasions of Japan. the first made it through and established multiple beachheads and landing zones that were conquered. the GAME Ghost of Tsushima fictionalized this invasion, but it was moderately realistic how the Japanese responded. they kicked the Mongols' assets not back into the sea... they killed em all! now the 2nd and 3rd invasions failed utterly due to... typhoons. the Mongols lost every ship and every soldier and sailor in those two periods of invasion. hurricanes in the Pacific are called Typhoons... for some reason. so yes L3WG... the Gulf Coast of the US is slammed by hurricanes during that time of year. but they're easily predicted using modern meteorological satellites, aircraft, ocean buoys, and land observations. but if a Gulf Coast assault was tried... say from Cuba or the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico... this video did cover that sparingly.

L3WG get the OLD version of the movie Red Dawn with Patrick Swayze etc. and watch it someday. it is a good movie about 'what if the US was invaded.' but of course the movie is fictional, dated, and therefore technologically old.

the video he watched failed to mention tornado season in the US is the SINGLE LARGEST EXTREME CYCLICAL WEATHER PATTERN ON THE PLANET. even more extreme than hurricane season on the US Gulf and East Coasts. more tornadoes are created in the US than any. other. landmass. on. Earth.

There is about 100 million gun owners in the US. That doesn’t mean every one is a good shot but a lot are. Plus all the retired military spread throughout America who could help organize areas of civilians to defend.

You are exactly right about the civilian population wanting to be the main character. So much John Wick types even in my area. Pretty sure in my area alone they would have hundreds of thousands of guns on them. We don’t have to worry about supply lines and we know the ground very well. I’m on the west coast and we don’t even want to talk about what the south would do. 😂

It was the really rough seas and a storm smashed the Mongols ships against the rocks. a really strong wind did this at the last moments. The Japanese said that ,"Spirit Wind" saved them/helped them. Spirit wind in Japanese is " kama kazi or Kame Kaze "depending on your source which is where the Japanese suicide pilots got that name from.

Interesting thing about Japan attacking Pearl Harbor is that Hitler REALLY didn't want America involved yet. He was doing everything in his power to establish secret bases on the soil first before he attacked our country himself from within. We were going to get involved regardless, but Hitler wanted to make sure he had the upper hand first. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, Hitler was PISSED. I'm not sure where the narrator got that Hitler didn't think America was a threat because his actions state otherwise. He really was making a secret separate plan for an attack against America.

I do like what he mentioned about us civilians though, and he's not wrong. Ya'll know how many gangs there are in LA and Oakland alone? And most of CA is rural, all the rural folk got guns and are more than down to fight. Our ancestors are alive in our hearts, he's right, we are down to be the "main character." 🤣

Well there is a lot more to there entrance to WW2. In WW1 the Japanese fought on the side of the alliance, and when it came time for the "Treaty of Versailles" the Japanese ambassador was snubbed by our president. This shame was taken to heart by the Japanese Emperor who then chose to strike back at the US along with China in WW2, focusing all his might there, after being an ally for so long. There was of course a lot more to it, but that is a really basic lead up to the attack on Pearl Harbor, The United States declared war on Japan on December 8, 1941 following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941; this effectively marked the US entry into World War II.

National guard 1) are part time while active duty 24/7, 2) Guard live within there community's , while active duty live in/on a base, 3) Active duty soldiers may be deployed to a battle field at anytime, where as a national Guard would need to be called up to active duty. National Guard normally serve 1 weekend every month to maintain there military status. There is a lot more, but there are some pretty key points.

In America, you can get rejected by the military as a viable soldier, they have guidelines for health and fitness prior to allowing people to get in, as well as mental stability. For instance if your on AdhD meds, they would require you to not be reliant on it prior to enlisting, or you may not be accepted.

Okay on the Mongol thing, yah the Mongols basically conquered all of main land Asia, when they tried to conquer Japan, a hurricane or Typhoon destroyed their fleet not once but twice at least iirc. The Japanese considered this divine protection so called the storm Kamikazee or divine wind/storm (my memory is not the best). And it that sounds familiar that’s actually where the name came from cause the Japanese seeing no divine storm would come for them decided to make their own
