Almost as large as a CD at the base, tapered as it rises.

Go to Device and then Traktor.Kontrol S4.Default (n/a, n/a)

under Device setup in the preference menu

Just press setup in the preferences and "re-install" your s4 :)

hmmn i have a feeling that if i set the mappings i will have issues. but for me the most important thing is i have been taught anew trick:)

i cant select my controller in and outputs, so the soundcard in the controller is working. but the controller itself NOT. I only can select 'None', 'Traktor Virtual In/Output' and 'All Ports'. What can i do about it? loaded the .tsi file several times but it doesnt work. please help me!

My effects mapped to the jog wheels keep switching themselves. from bounce to delay to gate etc. this is happening on all of the launch button presets. anyone else experience this?

Hello Ean, very short and you follow his work since 2 years ago. He had a Kontrol S2 and swapped for a Kontrol S4 and when you put your mapping is not included in the digital controller that marks the time of the beat (1/4, 1/2, 1,2,4,8,16,32) he lags even using the select button. Did I do something wrong or happens anyway?? Thankful buddy.

does anyone know if i can use the mic input on the s4 to record vocals into ableton? i cant seem to get the audio from the mic coming tru ableton? thanks

I noticed I had two issues with this mapping. The "time" of the loop beat was not shown lighted up under the jogwheel and I couldn't do anything with the samples section. I don't know if it's just me or if there's a problem with this mapping.

Just love this mapping! only got one question that i cant figure out ever since i installed it. Im not able to use my sample buttons ne more. before i just selected a loop pres 1 of the 4 sample butons and the loop was played in there under fader 3 and 4. how am i able to use both the jog fx mode on the jog wheels and sampling with the butons. hope someone can help me out on this one.

now ive updated my s4 got the same layout youve got in the vid. now ive done the adding 2 times to much and all is messed up. as you can read im a noob when it comes to pc´s when i touch the jogwheel now the track just stops and the tempo fader goes all the way up.

doesnt work for me...is this because only works with X version of Traktor Pro? Now it´s 2.10 so maybe thats the case.

I like DJtechtools and Ean Gold but the support on this mappings are bad. I know it's six years ago but I just bougt the S4 MK2, a midi twister and a midi fighter 3D. Al the mappings for Traktor are old and most of them don't work. Come on fix this or deleted the video's and downloads.

I miss the option to change the tempo with shift+fader, let go shift, and bring it even higher/lower?
