Love this!
ОтветитьThanks for asking about how Dann arrives at some of his licks and phrases.
I love it when he talks about his musical vocabulary...Beck, Luke, Larry, Lee....all of those influences color his language.
He's incredibly modest and still really enjoys creating...and is excited about it!
Greatness!

ОтветитьThanks for sharing! I've loved the wave of Dann Huff interviews that we've all been able to surf lately. So grateful to him for his tunes and the "Giant" influence he's had on us as guitarists.
Ответить‘To Be Forgotten’ on the Players album is a Dann Huff instrumental that shows Dann’s elite status, tone and touch. This song is very Jeff Beck, Earl Klugh, meets Lukather.
ОтветитьThe album is awesome. I hope this sparks a new desire and you give us more Dann. Your such an amazing player
ОтветитьFantastic Interview. Thank you
ОтветитьWhat a great guy! Love Dann and this was a great interview. Thank you both for sharing!
ОтветитьI’m in Texas and going to uncle Larry’s gig June 27 with all the buddies. I would for sure come to third and Lindsley again to see Dan huff
ОтветитьPlaying fast doesn't make you a great guitar player. Playing tastefully in the moment for the specific song needs is what makes you a great guitar player. Huff, I just found out who you were and turns out my motto has been similar to yours and I've been using your tone without even knowing it. Legend.
ОтветитьThis interviewer is incredibly annoying
ОтветитьI find the interviewer to be well prepared and pleasant. Great work
ОтветитьI was one of those 5 people who bought the first Giant record… and I wore that damn thing out! The music industry is a funny thing, with who is fashionable and who isn’t. I loved the Giant stuff, and Dann’s playing really spoke to me. Thank you! 🙏❤️🔥
ОтветитьOne of the most amazing, down-to-earth, not only musician but human being. I'm fortunate enough to meet Dann in Nashville back in early 2000's (I think 2004 or 2005) during one of our music project and he is exactly what you see today. Very humble, make me a cup of coffee (ha..ha), talk about guitar, music and life. The saying "be careful meeting your idol" ...well I'm glad meeting Dann Huff. He said, when you play , bring your attitude and it will reflect on your playing. Don't overthink, just do. Thanks Dann and great success on the album... we all need it.
ОтветитьSuper Zak! What amp and overdrives was he using here?
ОтветитьWas so looking forward to the album but it cost more in shipping to the UK than the album costs! Such a great player (and singer) and a great dude.
ОтветитьGreat interview! Dann seems to be a really humble and nice person.
ОтветитьI'm one of the five guys who bought all the GIANT records ;-)
ОтветитьI've heard the album about 10 times now and it's fantastic. Dann really gave it everything. And there is a variety of styles of music which keeps it interesting. And he shreds all over it, too!
ОтветитьThat tone is horrible…
ОтветитьThe most annoying interview I’ve seen- let’s the poor guy talk and finish his thought- must have some condition like hyper active attention disorder
ОтветитьThank you again for the 2nd interview Zak! You and Dann have great chemistry together!
ОтветитьDann Huff is guitar! His personality shines through his playing. No separation between his soul and guitar spirit!
Way to go Dann! Love the album! ❤❤
Zack you ask the best questions. I hope your channel gets really huge.
ОтветитьGreat interview! Dann huff is the best🎸🔥💪
ОтветитьThese are good questions.
Ответить🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьIf Dann does another record he needs to do at least one song with his brother and Mike Brignardello. Let's see if there is still some Giant chemistry there, please.
