Seriously though, the multi tool has so many damn uses, and yeah, don’t cheap out….. go with a Leatherman or a Gerber… I have both, like both, but prefer the Leatherman Wingman.
Of course foot care and general hygiene go without saying!

Problem with the 10 codes, different in different areas. 10-14 in parts of Massachusetts for example is a want/ warrant check. In parts of Tennessee, a 10-14 is a Jeremy Dewitte, aka, funeral escort. And so fourth.

When I had to learn the civilian law enforcement alphabet, it was confusing. I still don’t know all of them but I know the military ones, lol.

Ps, one thing I learned about maps, they change frequently. At least for aeronautical purposes. Always good to get a new one every six-twelve months or something like that

Multi tool should have the basics, spare blade, saw, awl, file, can opener, pliers, etc. anything extra is a plus

To clarify based on good conversations with associates in the comments-- the 10-code system is differential based on your area, so make sure you design a catered list based on what your local departments are using, along with other useful acronyms and other tips to add to the template card. Customize it to your needs!
