The Amish Strict Beliefs on Head Coverings

In my experience growing up in the Amish community, it was very important to wear a head covering. We called it a cap. There are strict rules about how to wear the cap and how it's supposed to be made. In the video, I unveil the teachings of why the Amish women wear head coverings and how it is taken out of context in the Bible. You see, the Amish hold their rules and traditions (their religion) higher than their faith. They believe we absolutely have to wear head coverings or we are disobedient not only to the Amish church but also to God. Covering your head should never be forced on anyone. That is what happens in really religious groups when they hold their religion higher than faith.
