for those of you who say this kill was inhumane here is a fact for you. An elephant has a massive lung cavity that takes time to completely disable. Hill's bow pulled 110 pounds and the four foot aluminum arrows went 31 inches into the chest. Also whoever thinks that the elephant had broke legs think of this an elephant will charge with a shattered spine. And it was not chained up the long bow was quiet enough that it didn't know he was there.

This is definitely real. Howard was my great uncle. He was a very rich man but also smart and skilled at what he did. I never met him but his heroic hunting stories travel through my family. Also that noise was kind of creepy!

that is a female elephant, cows are in herds, no bull with "8 foot tusks" would be allowed (by the females) to stick around for very long. cows also have more conicle shaped heads than bulls do, much thinner tusks also.
