every time Zegler writes for herself, she doesn't use capital letters or correct grammar-- the apology letter uses correct capital letters and grammar. This was obviously written by somebody else and copy/pasted into her instagram. it is so incredibly faked and disingenuous.

Alan said the same I've said over and over--there are some great stories of African history/lore out there, tap into that. Instead they rub things into our faces by race-swapping all the old beloved IP's. There are some really talented black actors and actresses already, Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington, Angela Bassett and Viola Davis, so you know we don't care about color, we care about good entertainment. China and India are another couple of countries that have deep, deep history with a lot of lore that could be tapped into.

Snow White is 87 years old, and it is still one of the ten very best animated features of all times. Perhaps the best. I feel no hatred toward young Miss Zegler, but I feel a seething, thumping contempt for the ideology that has made her talk like she does and has trashed the most wonderful film studio in the history of the world. It is more than just hatred, that I feel.

Even if it was mandated by Disney, the fact that the other side is now being made to "bend the knee" is a very good sign.

That joy was the last joy they had before being murdered. That Snow White mural saved herself and her mother. She got a job painting portraits of people for the historic man now referred to as "The Angel of Death." She took her time on the portraits to keep the victims alive longer. Her portraits are still at the holocaust museum-despite the fact that it was her dying wish to have them back. Everyone says that Walt Disney was anti-Semitic, but the Jewish Joe Grant (the designer of the queen and the hag-more widely known for pushing for Crikee to be in Mulan) nipped that in the bud. Snow White was loving and kind; Rachel is a monstrous cyber bully. Snow White won honorary Oscars. It was the very beginning of animation being seen as an art. And every time this little actress calls it a cartoon, she is undermining that. Snow White earned her keep. This Snow White doesn't clean. This Snow White had better be working in the mines!

Have we reached the point yet where casting people look at an actress's history and say, "Yeah, I think we'll pass on her." A simple Google search would reveal she's toxic and will harm your production. It's like going to the grocery and seeing a package of ground beef that is nice and healthy and clean, and then looking at the package beside it that has mold and maggots in it. Which one are you going to choose?
