I remember a judge refusing the recuse himself from the Pirate Bay case after someone discovered that judge was part of an organization openly against piracy.
When you let a judge be partial and hold a vested interest in a case, you ruin the whole justice system.
We had such vibes of partiality with Judge Kaplan, who presided over the whole Steven Donziger case. The whole thing stank to high heavens. All that because Chevron could not digest loosing in court.
It's clear the whole US healthcare industry wants to rig the court proceedings / will pretend they didn't know anything about a conflict of interest. Not so long ago they tried (but failed) to get information about the vaccine hidden for 75 years. Why hide something if you're not guilty? Why rig a court case if you have nothing to hide?
