Flight crews arriving at DCA received collision warning despite no other planes around

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating why several flight crews that were arriving at Reagan National Airport (DCA) this weekend received a cockpit warning that there was another aircraft potentially on a collision course, despite there being no other planes around, according to a statement.
