Communication was lost in their relationship, and if they would have taken the time to really talk listen to each other. They might would have stay together. But in the end, he still ended up with a black woman, so it not about the skin color, it the issues or personality of the person on the inside.

I've seen this movie and you give great points. She was wrong for listening to her girls and down-talking her husband. But at the same time, he husband knew she had issues, and in no way in the movie did he attempt to get her the help that she needed. I'm in no way taking sides, but he knew how she was from the beginning. There is so much you can hide from your significant other.
