I'm just going to say I could 100% not do this
ОтветитьManchus and Sibe had the same ritual as test for a new shaman
ОтветитьA true honoring of the master in his ascension by his devoted student. Also it is proof to master's spirit, and all others, the sacred teachings have been internalized enabling the student to be worthy of passing on generations of knowledge as the new Master. This is a ritual of passing that very few have ever seen even fewer have completed. I felt honored and humbled to be allowed to watch. Thank you❤
ОтветитьI have watched a movie where this was featured... OUCH!
ОтветитьI know it's someone's tradition but It doesn't make sense to continue this.
ОтветитьWhyyyyyyyyy!!!!!????????? NOOOOOOO!!!! Aghhhhh!!!!!!!!… AGAIN WHYYYYYYYYYY!!!???!???!???
ОтветитьHow are those blades not getting covered in blood as they climb?
ОтветитьSo cool,it's a real testament to the power of God!
ОтветитьIt not only need courage, but also the sharpness of mind. He needs to understand how to step correctly so the blade doesn't cut him and stay focus the entire way. So cool.
ОтветитьThis is ascension in the truest form 😂
ОтветитьHow does he get down............

ОтветитьSharp blades, edge of the cliff, 36 ft tall ladder. Nope. 😵💫
Ответить😮
ОтветитьCallouses so thick it stops gravity's work
ОтветитьUh...slide on the foot...ouch
ОтветитьWow this looks absolutely terrifying at the same time as being beautiful
Ответить😬 the way the feet slipped in those sharp blades damm
ОтветитьThat is crazy!
ОтветитьBlade can be pressed against without cutting you because the friction makes the cut not the contact. So to do this you need to steady youself, calm your steps, hold your grips, and do that on a ladder beside a cliff. It is not magic but masterclass of skill and self control.
ОтветитьMouth was open the whole video😭
ОтветитьTraditional is sacred but this I think doesn't need to continue
ОтветитьNgilunya sampai sini 😮

Miao is Hmong people living in China. There are other Hmong in Thailand and Vietnam that have similar practices too.
Ответитьremember people, blades cut when you slice not when you put pressure on them, unless it is razor sharp or you put a lot of forc in to it a sharp knife/sword wont cut you
ОтветитьAll traditions involving the initiation are seen as wild, brutal and savage for western men, raised protected even from a tiniest treaths. I have no doubts on direction of that trajectory.
ОтветитьBoosting
