Shows that there's a saturation of grizzlies in the Yellowstone area and they need have numbers reduced by transplanting them into other states like California Colorado Utah Washington and Oregon.

Who is managing the number of bears now?

It is called shoot on site, including the wolves, that do not even belong there., they are bringing down your numbers of wild life to a point you will have nothing to hunt. Put them in zoos, and get rid of them. Bear spray does NOT work, and everyone should carry a min. of a 44 mag. with 300 grain bullets. on their person at all times. They have no place in a modern man made world.

Bear spray in high Alt. does not work or does not work well enough, once the bear has the smell of blood, it is not going to stop. Total b.s. carry a pistol, say he gets the jumps on you, you can take the gun and put the barrel on the bear, and pull the trigger. They are telling you this, because these fools care more about the animal than they do humans. The loud noise of a 44 mag. can give it pause, further, with such a heavy bullet, a shot to non vitals can seriously slow the animal down, hardened 300 grain 44 mag. bullets break bones, and if everyone is carrying, someone will be able to shoot it.

There needs to be a hunting season , period end of story!

Where is grizzly country? Everywhere in WY? What about near snake river in Moran area? Would a person hanging out or camping 10 min walk outside of a designated camping area in a meadow be risky? Do they come up if you had a fire you were around? What if you did that alone?

JUST DON'T BE "STUPID" ((TOTALLY IGNORANT)) &be in Grizzly Territory WITHOUT A GUN more than capable of killing the Grizzly!!! Don't be the FOOL that depends on what is called BEAR SPRAY!!!!

SAFETY TIP: "While bowhunting during Idaho's 2021 elk season, two bowhunters stumbled upon a lone grizzly bear which attacked them without provocation. Armed with bear spray, the first bowhunter sprayed the bear without affect. The second bowhunter, armed with a handgun, was then forced to dispatch the bear. The local news station reported that the investigating Fish & Game Officer ruled that the bear was probably protecting a food source." Even if you carry bear spray, always carry a firearm for backup.

Go pick up a 10mm glock. Reliable & will punch through the fat to vitals. Only about 600 dollars

A good way to secure field dressing and campsites is to use a portable electric fence. The lightest one out there weighs only 2.4 lbs and it’s powerful enough to deter a hungry griz. Just a suggestion.

This is terrible advice! Never lay down when being attacked by a bear, never show fear, if you have a gun and a bear charges you SHOOT IT

Use enough gun!

Bear spray will stop a curious bear, 10mm will stop a charging bear, use the right tool. If the bear is charging and within 15 yards unload your 10mm on him as fast as you can.

Are people just hiking normally able to surprise a bear? Aren’t their sense of smell, hearing, and sight so good that you couldn’t surprise them unless you are carefully stalking? Some Experts claim that people need to have bells or other noise makers to prevent sneaking up on them? I think the unseen bear knows you’re there and it attacks when you get too close.

The other 50% is people being Killed Cause Bear Spray was ineffective. I’ve read and Heard a lot times when Bear Spray was Deployed it failed causing the Bear to be more Aggressive.
