Odd how this is an American voice using English grammar
ОтветитьSo, diesel engines are expansion instead of combustion?
ОтветитьAi garbage
ОтветитьDid not know this. Thanks.
ОтветитьGas engines have a small bowl and some even have valve slots in the piston
ОтветитьFact :- Petrol engines have spark plugs to ignite fueland diesel engine used compressed air (No spark plugs).
ОтветитьI think I really like the petrol engine piston
Ответитьoutdated information, due to high pressure the temperature raise and when the injectors injecting the disel there is no control where the combustion will be and if it happens in the side of piston may causes some cracks or damages so this curve guarantee that combustion happens in the centre of the piston
ОтветитьNot true the indent has very little to no effect in engine performance or longevity
ОтветитьHearing the word ‘petrol’ in a North American accent feels a bit weird
ОтветитьOutdated.
Petrol injection method now came.
Gasoline engine. Petrol (Petroleum) is the oil before its refined into gasoline. And for the "americans say gas but gas is a gas not a liquid" people, the engine does run on gas, specifically the vapor (a gas)from gasoline is what is actually flammable and when gasoline is aersolized like from a fuel injector it makes a lot of fuel vapor.
ОтветитьI like it.
Ответитьdidn't know this, good video!
ОтветитьThta's not true at all. The piston will have flat surface as long as there is need for such flow in the combustion chamber. It does not necessarily mean on eis diesel and other is petrol fueled.
Ответитьpretty much every motor with a GDI system gas or diesel will have some sort of bowl or area in the center to hold fuel closer to the spark plug on a gas motor or closer to the center/glowplug on a diesel
ОтветитьMy bro stuck in 90s
ОтветитьI never actually knew why it was like that, I just assumed it helped with very high compression since diesels requirement insanely high compression ratios to run properly
Ответитьthis is petrol, this is diesel, blah blah bla oink oink😂😂😂
ОтветитьMy Yamaha Aerox 125 Scooter had a piston like the diesel one, so it's not a diesel exclusive
ОтветитьCompression differences? Glow plugs?? This explanation was terrible
ОтветитьKerosene is not a fuel 😢why?
ОтветитьPros of diesel: quite quiet, doesn't burn a lot per 100 km
Cons of diesel: little to no specific issues to this exact type of engine
Both are outdated designs and entirely inefficient too many moving parts
ОтветитьOvercorrection: Not always air and fuel, direct injection is a thing in petrol engines. Not all petrol pistons are flat; i have one on my table as a prop that has wedges and valve cavities; not all diesel pistons have a bowl or bulge.
Ответитьvery WRONG
ОтветитьAnd unlike petrol engines diesel engines don’t have spark plug and has glow plug instead
ОтветитьIt’s not just a car, many things going in. Be respectful
ОтветитьAlthough it's not true fully now a days, since petrol engine pistons are having spaces now a days
ОтветитьMostly right, but gasoline engines often use direct injection in a similar fassion as it is the best way to mix the air fuel mixture, and most the time they dont have a flat face, not as deep as on a diesel, but far more comparable than that.
ОтветитьAlmost all engines after 2010 have some sort of design on the piston head
ОтветитьIst so disel zundet nur mit viel Druck und wenn der zelinder wahm ist
ОтветитьWrong! On GDi only air goes in during intake stroke!
ОтветитьWhy dont someone make diesel engine with air & fuel intake sprays evenly inside ? I'm serious
ОтветитьMy mazda cx-5 piston disagrees. It's gasoline and not flat.
ОтветитьWrong information.. Primarily it has to do with compression ratio
. So much information omitted here
good explanation. thank you.
ОтветитьOmni man explaining
ОтветитьMost their not flat.
ОтветитьAlguém poderia fazer outro vídeo dublado em português, ou traduzir? Por favor 🎉❤
ОтветитьAs of now I understand actual differences between diesel and petrol engines by its piston heard
Ответитьyou just explained the difference between carburetors and injection system but i guess you still explained how diesels work
ОтветитьIt's gasoline, not petrol
ОтветитьNo car has used a flat head piston in over 30 years
ОтветитьI think the diesel has the dish so as to reduce compression ratio. The compression on modern diesels is lower than what it use to be. They are trying to reduce Nox.
ОтветитьOh my god why does everyone say "Deezul" it's a Diesel!
Ответитьall the combustion occurs inside the bowl because there isnt spark to ignite the diesel so it compresses to the point it combusts
ОтветитьI’m impressed
Ответитьit's rather the difference in pistons between direct injection vs pre-mixed fuels
direct injection is also available (/possible) for gasoline engines
Its compression related not only combustion related !
