Anyone who was paying attention to the facts around this position, would've known he had to step down by the end of May. Everyone knew this. It's not news. If he stayed longer than 6 months he would've had to have been senate confirmed and separated from business interests in certain sectors etc. I can't believe CNN didn't know this, they reported on Musk saying it in February.
