As a retail pharmacy rep…. Damn this hits because I am not paid to deal with people yapping at me for their meds.
ОтветитьAnd then she waddled away (Waddle waddle), and then she waddled away (Waddle waddle), and then she waddled away (Waddle waddle waddle) to harass him the very next day (Wah wah wah wah wah wah wah). (Don't worry I'm fine....)
Ответитьworking as a customer service since 2010 - I become a very good bulls1ter. I can make it sound like I am giving you a special treatment when I am still just going to follow the company SOP anyway - IF I am not pissed at you. I you piss me off I will very very happily talk to you for hours to reject your dumb proposition and find bliss in your dissapointment for not getting things go your way - seriously its a very good feeling and a very satisfying thing to do to a male or female Karen -I will NOT even give you the grace to end your disapointment quickly and have my manager BS you - UNLESS there is a strict rule to escalate after some number of manager request (some companies require you to pass to a "manager" - usually your TL, NOT even the SME and the TL usually dont really have any special privilege at all) ANd technically they cannot fire me for it since I am just doing what the company tells me to say to you.
ОтветитьAnd what’s wild is managers will bish to the employees but yet it’s more often the customers making the situation difficult
ОтветитьDude, after working for years in minimum wage hospitality (in the UK, but I'm certain the experience is synonymous), that opening bit about "bringing back national service but with customer facing jobs before you can work any other ones" is something I have been saying for *ages*. The Adult Gen Z experience really is that universal, huh?
ОтветитьWorked at McDonald's a few years ago. I got yelled at for forgetting this lady's barbecue sauce once... I was working the drive-thru window... FAR away from the actual food.
ОтветитьBeing in the field rn in the Marine Core…. Yeah, that lady keeps me up at night 💀
ОтветитьI think you are being a bad person when you mock people for wanting to leave their purses when there is a crazy policy
ОтветитьNot gonna lie liked being deployed more than working at shopko
ОтветитьI worked customer service and now Im in the military. Im not even trying to be funny. But customer service was MORE stressful than most of my job in the military. I say this to folks and they DONT believe me.
ОтветитьI work at a driving range and the amount of people who lack the ability to read the room was just sad. And the amount of people who whine that they are slightly inconvenienced by us closing an area because you know hitting a ball with a stick is very important to these people who got nothing else going on.
ОтветитьTwilight princess house music 🎉
ОтветитьWorst part of my job is I have a manager that doesn’t like dealing with upset customers 😂 so she just tells us no when they ask to speak to her and we gotta figure out how to handle it
ОтветитьI work retail and while most customers are nice and pay for the stuff, I had a few customers straight up insult me or act like I don't know what I'm talking about, they look down on me, etc. I actually work 3 jobs and one of the job I work from home that's related to my degree, I just took this job because it's flexible and it's extra money. It sucks that so many jobs don't pay a living wage especially with inflation affecting the basic necessities (rent, groceries, etc). I met lots of coworkers who also have a college degree or in college, for reasons like they can't find a job related to the degree after college, they need extra money for school supplies, some have kids, etc. It's rough out there.
Ответитьthis niqqa editing 2 clean
ОтветитьI worked at dillons (a kroger brand store), mcalisters deli and Sonic. I always try my best to be nice as long as the employees aren't giving me lip.
ОтветитьBro, been watching a few of these vids, good stuff!
ОтветитьThank you customer service is hell :')
ОтветитьWorking in customer service made me realize how much people loved being lied to and served the minimum effort. Whenever I explained something to a customer thoroughly and with as much detail as possible, the more mad they got, but when I respond with an ambiguous and mysterious answer, the more satisfied they seemed.
ОтветитьUsed to work in customer/tech support. The amount of times I have put a customer on hold just to give them the illusion that I have gone to speak with my manager is actually crazy lol
ОтветитьWalmart was my first job which I had for a year. So, so many rude customers. (Didn't help we had an worker and coin shortage) The front end managers were all very kind (except one apparently but didn't notice as she was always nice to me) but I could see that they were stressed and would act very differently when interacting with customers. Especially one who, in short, was a 'Karen' on our side. She would legit pull the "you're being rude" card first.
ОтветитьI've worked a virtual job for a few years that has a big customer-service element to it, and have gotten a taste of a lot of bad stuff (e.g. belligerent customers and inane, condescending managers). But I can still only imagine what it's like to work something like in-person retail day-in and day-out 😨
ОтветитьI'm 2 minutes in and realizing that clicking on this video was a mistake. I applied for customer service jobs of helping people apply for life insurance, and I already provided customer service at Pizza Hut. You need the patience of a saint to deal with people.
So going back to that, but in a different industry from fast-food, I must be plum out of my melon.
As a ex manager my job was to lie and deescalate situations. That’s it.
ОтветитьYeah no seriously, the people person thing, lying to progress the day, bro only spits facts.
Ответитьnice editing bro
ОтветитьWorking in customer service causes misanthropy
ОтветитьJeez bro my bus ride home from campus felt so short due to me discovering your channel. It’s really good! Finna subscribe and keep it up😂🔥
ОтветитьI need mandatory customer service not only for the experience thing but because it means I am guaranteed to at least get some kind of job and not risk getting rejected or ghosted. Will I absolutely lose my fucking mind? Yea, yea definitely. At least I’ll have some money to cope with.
ОтветитьFax if the employee said no its cause the Manager told them at the beginning of the day or at the beginning of your first day at the fucking job to say no... 😂
ОтветитьSheev Palpatine Loves Yall❤
Ответить1. Riley is too gangster to work customer service, 2. This is spot on, 3. This should be a new type of conscription
Ответить"The manager's job isn't to help you. Their job is to make you go away" this is one of the realest things I've heard in a long time.
ОтветитьI'm working on an IT help desk right now on our L2 level. Our L1 team got outsourced to India, so every once in a while we get someone who hears their accent and almost immediately starts asking to be escalated. Since we're internal support, we get some repeat offenders but theres nothing we can really do about it.
Ответитьi worked as a telesales rep, technical support, and customer care for diff telco accs. The amount of stupid stuff im hearing everyday is ridiculous 😭
ОтветитьAs someone who works for reservations for a major airline, this video is 100% relateable. Especially the "Can I speak to a mamager?" part, which I always warn them "They're gonna see qnd say the exact same things as I do." Genuinely love this video.
ОтветитьGreat vid! Would love to see 15-20+ min talking videos from you! Hope you'll keep cooking
ОтветитьYo my first vid I seen of yours was the new gen Z adult one and just wanted to say as a 24 year old white collar citizen myself I’ve never related to videos more in my life haha previously I was a bartender for the past 3 years while finishing college and I can say I’ve done my time that’s for sure but anyways thanks for the content man keep it coming I need something to watch while on my lunch breaks😭
ОтветитьI just stick to night shift, so that the fellow employees become my "customers".
ОтветитьBefore my junior year in college I've had customer service types of roles and I'm glad to not have been in one for like 4 years now. Working retail was mentally exhausting and truly showed you the worst people of society. I feel bad for people doing it to pay the bills and survive because I understand how much those jobs blow. I would legit hate coming into work
ОтветитьYou’re speaking nothing but facts, my man. From screaming Karens to being treated like an underling, working customer service has permanently scarred me mentally.
ОтветитьWorked at the pharmacy for 6 months. Slowly died inside and was the worst job ever had 😂.
ОтветитьSo we all lived the same life atleast almost all of us
ОтветитьWorking in the fast food industry changed my life and that is NOT an exaggeration.
