Bet the inside is spectacular.. what a beautiful old Hall. It would cost a fortune I suppose and the upkeep would be astounding to pay for. Wonder what will happen to it. Great explore guys. keep em coming

I don't know where this abandoned from 1700 story came from - it was my school in the early 80s - Goudhurst College, Doddington hall and it had been a school in the building since the 40s. I was a boarder and we kept our trunk boxes in the basement you mentioned. There is a lake around it called Doddington lake. So certainly not abandoned since the 1700s

My friend lives at Checkley Hall - a couple of miles away. Another beautiful building but on a much smaller scale
