THE LAST HUDA BEAUTY PALETTE EVER! ICY NUDE!! PATRICK TA EYESHADOW PRICES ARE CRAZY! SHOP OR DROP?!

This catches my interest, for sure. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it between it and ND's "I Need A Nude". I can't afford both, so which is better quality?

I have deep dark rich skin. I’m going to pass on this palette because I have tried Huda’s eyeshadow formula before and the lighter shades to read very ashy on people with deep dark rich skin like myself. I’m starting to see a trend in makeup companies products being less inclusive. And those bronzers are a joke on rich skin, honey that dark shade is literally my concealer shade.

I heard Elf came out with some single shimmer shadows sooo 🤷‍♀️ maybe can skip on the patrick ones and try Elf

I am actually excited for the new Huda palette, last year’s palette was gorgeous but wayyyyy to cool toned for me so I love that this one has both coolish and warmer tones and those shimmers look beautiful!! I am incredibly sad that this is the last big palette tho 😢
As far as the PT, yeah that’s gona be a HUGE no for me. I’d much rather spend a few more bucks and get a whole palette from an indie brand with these type of special shimmers plus mattes, regular shimmers etc.

This palette looks absolutely gorgeous. Definitely going to buy. I hope she means something else when she says this is the last big palette.

It's a no for me with Huda and PT. Patrick has never impressed me, so the price is a joke.

I gasped the moment I saw the Huda palette for the first time. It’s really down my alley, I love me a good icy shimmery shadow and I feel like I would get a ton of wear out of it. As a black person this kinda feels more like an accent palette, I can see myself combining it with the “Pretty Grunge” palette a lot. Anyways I’m excited and really wanna get my hands on this one. And no it does not look like the “I need a nude” palette, they barely fall under the same color story to me. That one has a lot more shimmery pink shades, a deep brown shimmer that this palette doesn’t and in general it seems more darker especially in the first row. I don’t have the palette in front of me, but for what I remember they seem to be vastly different.

I think I want to like Huda’s palette more than I actually do, if she would gone a little more cool toned and gave us some depth it would have been a no brainer. As for the Patrick Ta duos, I think anyone would be better off looking into some singles from Terra Moons or Clionadh! Indie will beat mainstream shimmers every time and the price point is typically under $20 a shade lol

Huda palette: meh. Patrick Ta: I don’t care if these eyeshadows are made with gold, $42 is too much for a duo. I bitched about PMG having a $25 price tag on her duos. Now those look “reasonably priced.” I can dupe those colors with palettes I already have so Patrick won’t be getting my money.

Huda beauty palette not interested. Pastels and light shades don’t work for me make me look pale and washed out. Not going to buy it.
Patrick Ta looks amazing. I don’t think he’s crazy I think we are for still buying lol 😂 He puts out a price and we are still going to buy it and he knows it.. I want 4 out of 5 but not sure if it’ll happen. They do look stunning and if it’s as buttery and as glittery as they look it’s very tempting.

I’ve been searching for a palette that’s « an every day » type of palette but also includes a white eyeshadow and a black one, which is just soooo hard to find. So I’m actually really excited about the Huda beauty launch

I spent $95 on the new Chanel highlighter, sooo.

I’ll also pick up 2-3 of the Ta eyeshadow duos 😂

I don’t own any of her palettes. So I think I’m going to get this one. I have stopped buying big palettes. But since it’s her last I think I’ll get it. Btw I do love your bold lip. 👄 might have to get that. 😁🥰

So I love the Huda pallet, I don't buy pricey pallets, but I might grab this because as a cool toned, pale girly, I think it's perfect.
As for Patrick Ta, I personally won't get them, I don't have a use for them, but why is everyone mad about these shadows when they are wiling to pay $24 for a single Moondust? I feel like they look like they have that vibe and $42 is less than 2 moondust... Idk just my thought (you just pointed this out ha)

the pink patrick ta duo is gorgeous but no combination of two (2) eyeshadows is Forty Two United States Dollars gorgeous. whoever dupes those is gonna make a killing

I think the reason for the end of the big palette is how trends and people tend to love small palettes and single eyeshadows at the moment. A big palette decluttering videos were trending. I still feel big palettes can be popular still such as Natasha palettes will forever be popular, but I personally love the smaller scale sizes of the Makeup by Mario palettes they are so perfect

another comment, the outside packaging of the icy nude shadow palette should literally be a photo of Huda's eyes in this video like stunning and her shadow palette covers are iconic

the duos made my heart skip a beat like the hourglass single eyeshadow prices... my gosh! i am not paying this and neither i am going to pick up any of his products. i understand that maybe he can have better quality products then fashion brand names.... but those put a markup because of their names.... who is he? not even pat mcgrath charges that much! skip

Is it me or does the Icy Nude palette look very similar to the Rose Quartz palette? I expected something different. If you have the ABH sultry palette, you also have very similar shimmer shades to the new Huda palette.

I‘m not sure if producing in Italy is more expensive. Catrice and essence produce a lot of their products in Italy. I actually had very similar eyeshadows from essence years ago. Their had these single foil eyeshadows.

I think this is bad brand positioning from Patrick Ta. I am not too familiar with the brand but with such an outrage for a 42 buck duo, it seems a bit out of touch of its own pricing positioning. Take Victoria Beckam Beauty for example, she drops a 30 dollar eyeliner and people are swooning. 200 dollar perfume and people love it. She very carefully positioned her brand as high end so that is what her customers accept. Patrick Ta dropping something special at an out of touch price is just as tone deaf as if a Loreal dropped a 20 dollar eyeshadow single. Honestly, do these brands have focus groups?!

I will never spend $42 on an eye shadow duo. All of the mainstream eye shadow singles and duos are overpriced, IMO. I will always go to the indie market to shop for special shades. They will be more shifty and even sparklier at a better price point. Plus, you are supporting a small business. Also, when I look at the swatches of the PT duos, they look like they will crease and have a lot of glitter fallout onto the face.

I’m also super sad this is Huda’s last big palette. I’m hoping it’s just semantics…like this is our last big palette before the major rebrand. Then once she’s fully rebranded she’ll release big palettes under the rebrand. Haha. A girl can hope. 😅

I was actually waiting for this video to hear your thoughts on the eyeshadow duos. I didn’t wait last time and I bought his single glitters and they were horrible so I’m just hoping that these will be better and like you I’m leaning toward maybe picking one or two upjust to ensure that it’s not the same as the previous product he launched which was pretty much craft glitter and I actually threw it in the trash. Really appreciate this video.

Would love to see you review the new Anastasia Beverly Hills palettes especially the sugar! And the Colourpop frosty palette

I honestly think if brands that are big for eyeshadow palettes don’t take a page out of Danessa Myricks book, as in perhaps creating 9 pan smaller palettes that they could sell separately at the same time that are magnetized to be stackable, like DM’s was, they are missing out. So many people like the idea of a smaller palette for travel and etc. I loved DM’s stackable magnet palette idea, but the colors were just so ugly looking. They just sat in those sad square pans looking like the makeup you’d get kids that were 13 at the beauty counter back in the 80s and 90s.

For me it is not icy without the blues… it has too many peaches that are so repetitive in Huda’s palettes. Disappointed

Probably just doing small palettes because the price point is so much higher- too high in fact. The inflation these days holy jeeeez. !!! But just wasn't a 70$ investment when they started the "big palettes" maybe she wants to keep prices semi reasonable..

If people are crazy enough to throw away their hard-earned money on Patrick Ta products, of course, he is going to charge outrageous prices. Yes, Patrick Ta has lost his beautiful mind!

I'd prefer Patrick Ta made singles. Tbh I like a few of the shades but none of them are in the same Duo so thats a drop for me cuz $42 😅

I love the Huda Beauty eye shadow palette! It looks like a good every day/work/cool tone people look!! I love a good glittery eye look! It's my go too!! PT are normally high priced anyways so I'm not surprised the glittery eyeshadows duos are $42.00, but do think that it should be a lower price point due too people not buying eyeshadows that much right now!! Love the pink shades!! Pink is my favorite color!!

Icy nude just dropped!!! Bought the eyeshadow palette. I couldn’t resist it looked so beautiful. I got her rose quartz as my first huda eyeshadow palette it’s soooo nice

loving Huda's pallette, finally something different than I've seen before, will be buying especially because it's the last one😭😭😭😭 but Patrick Ta is out of touch with reality, $42 for 2 shades? he clearly wasn't sober when he was approving the price of these palettes 😂😂😂

Huda's palette looks like a marriage of ND's I Need a Nude to Xenon. I have Xenon and think it's a work of art. I think Mario's new palette was also inspired by it. I love Huda's Grunge palette.
