ОтветитьMr. Brettley, e-...I like you style. Thanks for taking the time to teach us!!
ОтветитьCompletely understood the setup based on your explanation. Some people skip what they consider is a boring or unnecessary detail but they’re forgetting they’re talking to rookies mostly and we need every detail.
Great job.!
very informative and helpful. Thank you.
ОтветитьVery good video; well explained and visualized. Thank you
ОтветитьThe black (hot) and white (Neutral) is the current carrying conductors the ground is a safety wire to carry any stray current to the ground not the individual hence 12/2 is 3 wires not 12/3 cause they only count the current carrying wires 12/3 would have a red wire which is a traveler wire but is also a current carrying wire.
ОтветитьAs someone new to the trade and a visual learner. I appreciate how you broke that down.
ОтветитьLike your presentation style, nice job!!!!! Thanks!!!!
ОтветитьThank you
Ответитьthanks for teaching me so much I really want to learn this stuff of electronics and switches and breakers
ОтветитьThank you so much for the video, it is so clear and easy to understand, you rock! I did have a question with the circuit with the switch, when you say to connect the 2 white wires, how do you do that? Is it a different method than piggybacking the ground wires?
ОтветитьAs someone that hated schooling because I thought it was boring I have to say……drawn out lessons are the best. Great video man 👌🏻👌🏻
ОтветитьAwesome, that was soooo easy to understand, thank you!!!
ОтветитьI would say if you're not a certified electrician don't attempt to wire a house from scratch. While it might be legal in some states, it is a bad idea for a whole host of other reasons. For one, if the insurance company finds out, they won't cover you. Changing a light fixture or an outlet is fine, but I wouldn't attempt more serious electrical work on my own.
ОтветитьHey i learned a little bit that helps how it works thanks it was interesting once i get the understanding down i will figure the mathing down later!!!❤
ОтветитьEXCELLENT
ОтветитьThanks! Your videos have helped me tackle some simple home wiring such as installing a new outlet/receptacle! One thing that baffles me is I wanted to replace an old three-way light switch but it has a neutral wire plugged into one of the terminals on the back of the switch, opposite the red wire terminal - instead of being connected to the other neutrals in the same box. The black/hot feed is connected to the 'common' terminal on the switch and is always hot. So I don't understand how the neutral can work properly if it is connected to the 3-way switch instead of to the other neutrals in the box??
ОтветитьThanks you, awesome job explaining and breaking it down! ...from a woodworking teacher to an electrical.
ОтветитьAmazing
ОтветитьThis was such a well done video. Thank you for making it.
ОтветитьI've been bouncing around a few of these wiring videos, and they all assumed I knew more than I did. Until this one.
Great explanation. I love the way you walked us through it one step at a time.
wow man thank you so much for wanting to share your knowledge! as someone who’s innately curious and needs this kind of information, it’s very much appreciated!
ОтветитьGreat video. Appreciated.
ОтветитьAnyway to DM you about questions. I am learning about electric more now and always wished I had someone to ask questions. I’m fort myers Fl. Thanks.
ОтветитьWow, thank you.
ОтветитьDude, this was awesome...very helpful!👍🏽
ОтветитьI'm a Home Depot employee learning. On the Job training 💪
ОтветитьGood stuff!
ОтветитьGreat video , thank you 👍🏻
ОтветитьSo helpful! Ty!
ОтветитьAn excellent overview! I really liked how you overlapped actual fixtures over your diagram. Clicked with my way of learning. One more watch, and Imma get myself electrocuted. (Hopefully not). Thanks!
ОтветитьHey man love the video it was immensely helpful, have an interview to be an electrician apprentice and this taught me loads!! Thank you man! And I agree about the current education system right now, which is why it's being changed! Going to check if you have further videos
ОтветитьGood video 😎✊💯
ОтветитьBest 3 way description ever. Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat video man I appreciate it!
ОтветитьCurrently wiring a cabin that I'm building on my homestead. This video literally made it all make sense. Thank you.
ОтветитьThank You!
Ответить10 times better than most electrical teachers .. bravo 👏
ОтветитьIt helps me a lot. Thank you teacher!
ОтветитьThanks for this mate im a 38 year old looking into getting qualified hope its not to late
ОтветитьExcellent video. Great work my man, I'll be going through your stuff in the future. Subbed!
ОтветитьThank you !
ОтветитьAwesome thing you did here. I learned basics in high school but forgot proper wiring for receptacles and switches. And i bought an old house that I rented for 4 years. At almost year 6, the knob and tube in the living room decided it was going to try and burn the house down. This will be very helpful to me as i am taking off work to re wire a couple parts of my house since half is up to date and half is knob and tube. Again, thank you, sir.
Ответитьif you keep the the hot and neutral from the same 12-2 on either the top or bottom when it’s more than one receptacle why don’t you do the same for a single? would it work if you hooked up the hot and neutral on from one 12-2 to the top of the receptacle
ОтветитьWell, after doing wiring for 1516 years, you really got me confused as you said in your first video after your light you run back to the box I would just end the circuit at the box never have a problem. Why do I need to run another line from the lastlight back to the box?
ОтветитьFantastic video. Thank you explaining so succinctly.
ОтветитьGreat video.
ОтветитьReally helpful video thanks.
Question, where would be the best place to get help designing a complete mobile home rewire. I've got an old mobile with aluminum wiring that my insurance won't insure, so I'm thinking about just running exposed conduit similar to a commercial building but am just beginning to learn wiring.any advice would be very helpful.
Ik the real pain in the ass thing would have to be fishing wires through an already finished wall
