Dude, I totally understand your pain!
I have climbed and droned most of Skye - some of which is on my channel.
But the best time to visit this place is the middle of September imho 👍

Your videos are worth every single minute; the longer, the better!

Lesson learned for me: when going to the Isle of Skye, come with a good pair of hiking boots and best hinking gear you can get your hands on :D

We were very lucky during our Scotland trip two years ago. Only had 1 day of rain and we had beautiful weather during our trip to Skye. Great views at the Old Man too. Besides Norway, I found Scotland (and the highlands) one of the most beautful places I've been too. The green mountains at Skye look absolutely fabulous. I guess they're so green because there's also a lot of rain ;-)

Great information and practical travel tips. However, my wife and I don’t appreciate the bad language (especially using God’s name in vain) - not a whole lot, but it detracts from the video. Your video on the entire Isle of Skye had no bad language and was great!

Thanks very much, great video. I am travelling to Isle of Skye on Wednesday and the weather forecast does not look great. Showers for the duration of my stay - 5 days that is. Got my new waterproof gear so am ready to roll! TA

You need a wee dram to take the pain away and as others have said boots with ankle support doing your ankle on a trip sucks. Hope the drone was repairable.
