A small note on production:
In your last videos the sound is very far to the left (your right), it doesn't sound nice. Maybe you can just switch the sound in your signal path to mono before recording?
Best wishes ✌

Ramsey! Long time watcher, love the content.. You have incredible research you present for the community. I've seen alot of your videos, and here are some vintage legends I never hear you talk about.
1. Cacharel pour homme, (the bottle with the butterfly on it is the vintage.)
2.Dunhill edition (made in Holland)
3. Original Jaguar for men (brown cap)
4 Houbigant Raffinee=Krazy krizia Lutece=Chanel 5 Monsieur musk is an incredible musk.
5 Pierre balman Monsieur Balmain= Chanel pour monsieur but a vetiver dry down, incredible longevity, it's the best of that category, Vent vert= Chanel 19 but perfected.
5. Guerlain samsara the original bottle with the gold cap. It's drastically different, no peach, just the smoothest velvet sandalwood ever.
6. Romance for women, cosmair bottle, totally unisex, best aldehydic realistic rose ever smelled.
7. Laura Biagiotti Roma for women vintage, amazing amber
8. Joop le Bain for women= amazing play dough vanilla, vintage cosmair has civet , Joop femme cosmair formula =Chanel 5 plus white florals.
9 here's a bunch of amazing musk scents but you have to find the vintage formulas to be good, bou can get for less than 20$ on ebay= Royal copenhagen cologne, Avon wild country, brut, old spice, English leather.
10. Tommy Hilfiger T, vintage smells just like Dunhill blend 30.
11. Open by Roger and gallet vintage smells like original Givenchy gentleman with more amped up slicy patchouli.
12. Capucci vintage homme, has an incredible Basil dry down.
13. Perry Ellis Red in the. 5.0 oz. (You can find on ebay) It's the same bottle type as the vintage, but it's not listed on fragrantica. It's a patchouli cherry scent I believe they didn't mass market.
14. Any fragrance made before 2001 by Carlo corinto. They're a clone house from France, but before ifra in 2001 they have natural ingredients with amazing longevity that no one has hardly reviewed imon frangrantica, cheap as chips in ebay. Vintage French Riviera by them, is a better version of dolce pour homme silver sticker. (It's incredible) L Inizio women= rice gauche fem vintage, l Inzio= minotaure l inzio sport= vintage Light blue for women, blu Stremo= vintage ck1 , vetyver=aqua brava by Puig, Rouge= cool water , Silver= Tommy Hilfiger freedom. You can buy all of those for less than 200$.
15. Bogner deep forest, cosmair bottle, it's like Dunhill blend 30 mixed with rive gauche.
16. Jean patou for women, it's like diorella but better, very masculine actually..
More to add to the ever growing list! A concept for a video for you would be to review the house of Carlo Corinto and educate the community. You can find bottles for 20$ each on ebay it's insane for the longevity and naturals they used. Everything made before the year 2000 is amazing. The vintage Carlo corinto doesn't have the raspberry, it's a drakkar noir clone with extra woods.
Thanks Ram keep it up!

Two other fragrances no one talks about, Dunhill by Dunhill 2003 vintage clear bottle. Smells like dia man mixed with dreamer on steroids. The newer version smells the same but doesn't last. Dunhill black 2008 (which is actually green) has the main note of nettle, an herbal note. Reminds me of Panda from zoologist (tea with mint kinda) amazing under the radar scent. And for a niche scent Chris Collins, African rooibos. It's a black smokey dark rooibos tea, very close to bvlgaris the rouge , but way better longevity.

Also the vintage versions of Lauder for men, and Houbigant duc de vervins, have civet in them. They're two of my favorite colognes. Order the splash versions. Also, most times, you can order a splash version of a current fragrance and most of the time you will get the original formulation. Since whenever a fragrance is going to be released to the mass market, they make a huge amount of samples before launch.I believe they stopped making splashes in the early 2000s. Then they went to vial. But here's an example Armani code profumo was released year 2016, but they would have to make it in 2015. So after ifra passed new guidelines, that one year batch of 2016 released has insane performance, amped up leather note, with a slightly oakmoss dry down that is absent in all previous versions. I found that out since I had received a sample that smelled way better than the mainstream version that was released. So I Looked for a 2016 batch and sure enough, the same can be said for that last cusp of fragrances released in 2016 that allowed for partial naturals. Now, currently in 2022 ifra banned Lillial, an ingredient that helped prolong longevity for colognes used for decades. That's why everything made after 2024 on lately has been pure shit for longevity. Seriously every designer sample I've had lasted less than two hours for me, except Gucci Guilty elixir, (awesome reflection man hybrid made by Quentin Bisch, 7 hour longevity btw). Well that's my Rant.

Also you could make a video about how to find vintages. Ex; the oldest batches have short ingredient lists, and usually a degree instead of a percentage for alcohol content. Then the green dot came in the 80s I think? A barcode then appeared in the 90s. Pre 80s usually everything was "cologne" or "natural spray" before the term vaporizer The little "e" logo doesn't appear until the early 90s. The flammable liquid logo doesn't appear until the late 90s.the recycle logo wasn't until the 2000s. Now on newer bottles they have a logo of a man throwing something in a trash car. (Everything with that new logo is pure shit btw, ignore with the plague, that's after the lilial ban) After 2000 the ingredient list became bigger. 2016 no naturals were allowed anymore. Technical terms for Ingredients to look for on older batches such as Lillial= butylphenyl methylpropional etc The reason why calone became popular in the early 2000s was because of the oakmoss cut they had to do and what perfumers used to try and make interesting fragrances. And then how they cut Lily of the valley, and calone fragrances in 2015 now why scents like Versace pour homme (2008) had a wonderful fresh calone smell, now turned to cheap lemonade after the lily of the valley striped from its formulation. Also I've heard real Mysore sandalwood was banned in 1988 since we're destroying most of the trees and they had to switch to synthetic. As well as the same reason for stopping most animalic scents during that time period. We were killing too many animals! you don't see many natural animalics in designers except for the high end niche stuff (Amouage gold man/ woman etc) But even then amouage stopped using real animalics in the early 2000s. Or how vintages come in weird bottle numbers like 1.69 ounces instead of a 1.7. The long white atomizers inside the bottle that they stopped using early 2000s. Or even great brands that died shortly after the 2000 ban such as cosmair, Lancaster, profumo s.p.a. (made early le male bottles) prestige, Puig made the early Prada bottles until the ban in 2016, then all their juice went to shit. The shitty manufacturing companies to look for on the label such as L'Oreal , Coty, EA fragrances (not Elizabeth Arden though). To look for where it was made, such as the Good Dolce bottles made originally were in France, and how to spot the new ones because they started making them in France again, but now on the logo if it has the little logos underneath it, it's a newer shit formulation. Pre batch code was 70s, then it was a hand painted on 5 digit logo the late 80s, then it went to three digit, then four in the 90s, then 5 and 6. How to read batch codes. Example all Dior batch codes are four digits, 4r02 and the first number is sometimes the year, they repeat every 10 years. If I have clear juice that means there's no naturals and is probably a newer bottle unless it has food coloring added. If I have a nice champagne color there may be some oakmoss, it could be a 2014, if it says spray and not vaporizer and has a long stem inside it could be a 2004 bottle, if it has golden juice and no symbols underneath the batch code it could be a pre 1994 bottle. If it's dark like diabetic piss it's probably a turned bottle, with either very light scent and no top notes, or rarely but it happens a poignant smell. To watch out for plastic , (I bought a Paco splash in a plastic bottle from the 60s and the plastic didn't store the fragrance well, no smell left. Or how in a vintage bottle with a sprayer usually it's life will last longer than a splash since it doesn't have to be exposed to air as much. How the first spray of a vintage that's been sitting for a long time will usually be stored in it's atomiser, and you need to give a few pumps to get to the good juice on a vintage that hasn't been sprayed in a long time. Ok sorry for ranting, maybe you can organize my/our experience and share it with the people to educate how cologne doesn't have an expiration date if it's stored well. It's like fine wine! I guess the most important lart for people to know when buying vintage, is its like gambling, 80% of the time you can get a awesome scent cheaper and better than current scents on the market. But along with that 20% you have to accept the loss of getting a bad bottle. New and never used with sprayers and a good color are the safest bets. But its suprising hoe many splashes and partials ive gotten that still hold the magic.

For vintage hunting I use mainly three websites, etsy, mecari and ebay.
Etsy usualy has great prices on splash bottles, and some people even decant rare vintage scents.
Mecari is great because people sell alot lf vintages that they probably aquared from estate sales. Jf they dont have a picture of the sticker under the bottle, look for a long stem in the bottle is usualy vintage.
Ebay, i organize my search first highest to lowest, usualy the highest is people that know what they have (example cosmair polo). Then once i know what the vintage looks like, i organize my search lowest to highest. Look for the cosmair logo thats in the photos, not the description. Ill find the most reasonable bottle in price in good shape, good color etc then purchase.
