Feeling Tempted? Read This!
This temptation of yours can be overcome.
How do we even know?
We just read in Hebrews 4:15-16 that our High Priest is one that sympathizes with us.
Who is our High Priest?
None other then Jesus Christ.
He was also tempted. He was also tested.
But what qualifies Him to give us the power to overcome.
The fact that He endured it all without sinning once.
That allows the believer to come to Him in prayer asking for mercy and strength to overcome.
He dealt with it all about 2000 years ago so you don’t have to deal with temptation anymore if you choose too.
