Delighted to welcome Greer Amps back to the channel with their Nick's new Thunderbolt30 Gen2 Amplifier Head! The Thunderbolt30 Gen2 will serve up Matchless/Vox and Marshall JMP style tones, tuned expertly to the Nick Greer's unique taste. A three knob control scheme ensures that you stay focused on playing rather than tweaking, and there are a lot of amazing tones possible between the Volume, Tone and Master knobs. I show you what it's like to crank them all, or dial Volume lower with Master Cranked for max headroom, or Volume cranked tone high for a killer pedal platform with plenty of headroom for pedals, whether you're rocking fuzz, boosts, overdrives, etc.

Today I am featuring the Thunderbolt30 Gen2 with my Frank Brothers Ultra Light loaded with Lollar Pickups El Rayo Humbuckers and a Lollar Firebird middle pickup on a blender knob, all with treble bleeds. I am using a Benson Amps 2x12" Cabinet with Celestion G12H 30w 8ohm speakers, into an array of 4 mics (Royer R10, Royer R121, Sennheiser E906, Lauten Audio LS-208) into a Universal Audio Apollo x4 and Ableton Live 12. Additionally, I made a small pedalboard of some exceptional NOS fuzz pedals I just received from Expresso FX, the Dual Ge/Si Fuzz, and the Germanium Boost Mini - both of which sound absolutely stellar when slamming the Greer Amps Thunderbolt30 GEN2. ✌️
