"Crash Alert: Self-Driving Car Hits Delivery Robot in West Hollywood"

On December 27, 2024, a Waymo self-driving car collided with a Serve Robotics delivery robot in Los Angeles. The incident occurred as the delivery robot was crossing a street in West Hollywood and attempting to mount the sidewalk. As it reached the curb and began to adjust its position, the Waymo vehicle made a right turn and struck the robot at approximately 4 miles per hour.
