I love my scribe but, the writing experience still feels to much like glass. I have many notes and folders on it and have emailed to myself to backup. I recently bought the Viwoods aipaper to test. I love the writing feel in this over the scribe. The viwoods stylus doesn't work on the scribe but, i can use other stylus on the viwoods. You can adjust the writing feel of stylus that isn't the viwoods when writing on the viwoods. I have 100 days to test this out. Not have a front light takes getting used to but, when i use an external light indoors, books look more like physical books. The scribe is lovely and i will be keeping it for my reading pleasure. Thank you for your update.

I absolutely love my kindle scribe! Especially the writing experience with my new STAEDTLER Mars Lumogrpah digital jumbo pen. Feels like I’m writing with pen on paper, love it!

i really am tired of ai being inside everything

Great video. Other then a great eink screen ( though in 2025 it should have been color) , The kindle scribe is an exorbitant 400 dollars scribbly pad, an overweight paperback reader, a misfit for its screen size for students studying college books with A4 content and in 3-5 years time all these notes and formats will be forgotten by Amazon leaving you with a paperweight.

My first few trials suggest that the "Refine Writing" function (under the AI icon) is much more accurate than the "Convert to text and email" function under the share icon. If you do the two operations in succession, you get a pretty good text document from your handwritten original.
