The Spartan Harsey Folder is way more interesting to me then Hinderer and CRK. I think they are better looking then CRK, and as for Hinderer, I’m not a flipper fan. Although, that Hinderer Jurassic is the first Hinderer I’ve seen that I’ve wanted to buy. I don’t know why.
ОтветитьI have the zt 0393 regular g10 one and i love it made me more interested in hinderer thats for sure
ОтветитьYou can de assist that Barage
ОтветитьBM Barrage was my first expensive (to me) knife. Found it a gun store and carried it for years. The assist spring finally broke, and while it was at BM getting a free fix, I though I'd research a new knife. Mistake, or a journey of joy, not sure. That lead to a Chaves 229... and hasn't stopped. I love seeing great inexpensive knives, as well as drool worthy unattainable knives to dream on. The Brigand caught my eye, partly because that was the name of my sons punk band. Anyway, sorry for the ramble, and thanks for another get piece.
ОтветитьI've got the OGK Compact Hawkbill, the Scorpion is a tad large for my needs. Most of these knives are. It's funny, you get used to pocketing a certain size or shape for a while and really feel the difference when you switch it up. I've been carrying the Artisan Centauri and now the Begg MiniGlimpse feels huge.
ОтветитьI couldn't agree with you more on most of these picks, esp with the ZT 0393 & most of all the Off Grid Scorpion (so good I got a 2nd)! Hell, my 0393 is the main reason my first & only (so far) Hinderer is the Eklipse Harpoon Tanto. Great video as usual, appreciate it.👍
ОтветитьStill waiting on my 'little' native to ship... Most retailers are out at the moment. I think I'm going to like it a bit more than the G10 dragonfly that I have as my EDC. I can get a 4-finger grip on the dragonfly, but, I think the little native is a much better handle shape. As I mentioned before, Spyderco really needs to get on board with the contoured G10 scales...
ОтветитьI say it & praise it all the time, to the point I'm convinced there is a conspiracy that it isn't more popular -the Artisan Cutlery Hyperion is criminally underrated! There are barely any reviews for it. Yes, it's pricey, but it's got a laser sharp s35vn highly satin blade, guillotine smooth drop action, easy to disassemble, fits great in the pocket for as big as it is, has multiple choices of color in titanium and beautiful carbon fiber on both sides.
ОтветитьI don’t think most of these knives would be underrated if they weren’t so expensive
ОтветитьI prefer OTF button on spine. You think you’re skipping a motion by having it in the fire position when pulling from pocket, but your hand repositions to have the thumb on the spine to use in most cases. To me it’s safer and more natural to fire when in ready to use position and retracted when done.
ОтветитьIma need ya to buy the knives you are reviewing so I can see them in hand....mmmmm Kay 😁
ОтветитьLove my Dirac Delta although the double edge is kind of hard to get used to, and I completely agree with the Civivi Brigand. It was my first Civivi and it’s shape, size and build is really good.
ОтветитьCool video MC, I picked up the Brigand after your review and agree it's a great knife .
Ответить4 to 500 dollars for a knife ?
Have people lost their minds ?
Best knife you showed was the civivi brigand. Especially for what any of us use a knife for. No-one needs a 500 dollar knife. A knife is a knife it cuts right ?
I just got a Harsey folder and it came in s45vn. One of the smoothest knives on washers I've ever had. The Jurassic, though? My favorite knife of all time.
ОтветитьIn my opinion the Benchmade mini prestideo 2 is soooooo underrated. It’s basically a more ergonomic bugout with full liners.( everything you like)
ОтветитьWas debating on The ZT-0393, but I couldn't get over the mall ninja knife look. Decided to go with the Hinderer XM-18 w/ spanto stone wash.
ОтветитьWhy didn't you try to see if the red one would go thru cardboard for us? Or a mannequin head or something. Was informative. Thanks!
ОтветитьAnd would you recommend the Spartan Harsey, or the CRK Umnumzaan if you could pick one.
ОтветитьYES MC! Long live the Brigand! I've owned so many Civivi's and it's still my favorite.
ОтветитьMe personally I don't see paying $300+ for a folding knife that's actually gonna be used. If you're buying it as a show piece or as a collector then cool.
But if you're actually using it other than opening envelopes, makes no sense because there are tons of less costly knives in high quality.
Yes my Barrage 581 is like butter de assisted. Great knife! And great videos MC
ОтветитьI only kept 2 ZT’s, the 0393 and 0801Ti. I’ve owned the 0562 and it’s great but the 0801Ti is better. IMO-it’s ZT’s best knife.
The Steel Will Gekko is another great knife. Made by Viper in Italy and very high quality. I’d guess the only stronger lock is the Triad. There are some unheard of gems too like the Fox Terzoula in Bacote wood, real cool knife. No clip and comes with leather sheath. I’m forgetting a bunch but that’s a few anyway.
Hey MC, quick question? If I use your link and say I need to wait until payday, will you and your channel still receive credit for my purchase? Or should I wait until I can pay for it right away then you'll get credit? How does that work.
ОтветитьOH! NO! DON'T DO IT!
DOOOON'T DO IT!
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE DON'T!.....

DON'T DO ANOTHER 'TOP 10 MOST OVERRATED FOLDER KNIVES!' 😟🙏
Spartan makes amazing knives.
ОтветитьThe Spartan is nice 👌
ОтветитьJust got my brigand a few days ago. I think it was the last one on BladeHQ! I love it so far.
ОтветитьComing from someone that has both, i definitely prefer my recon 035 to my ultratech....
ОтветитьI own the Civivi Praxis, Plethiros and McKenna and now I want a Brigand! 🙂
ОтветитьThanks MC, Spartan is next on the list now.
ОтветитьStrong list. Good call on the Barrage. I think the current version is in 20CV instead of M390. Osborne designed. Great ergos. I've seen the deassisted before, but I don't mind it. One of my very favorite knives. Certainly top 25.
Ответить0393sw...one of the most comfortable knives in hand. Like putting on an old well worn pair of sneakers.
ОтветитьI keep seeing people not liking assisted why is that?
ОтветитьI showed the picture of the 0393 glcf to my non-knife-person gf, she asked 'did they ran out of materials when making the scales' and added 'that just looks cheap'
ОтветитьDeassisted 581 is easily one of the all-time best knives of the last 20 years. I have 5 lol and deasisted 3 of them. They run fantastic without the assist!
ОтветитьI will say my zt0393glcf action is messed up. Inside the pivot area where the race track is it looks as if they stone washed it heavily and it has gritty as heck closing action.on the titanium scale side. Oh and every time I clean it out it has an unsettling amount of metal shavings in the pivot that is insane after 2 months it should be just broken in. I don’t work with or around metal to be from my environment.
