Does the distance translate to the woods?
Ответитьfoot fault
ОтветитьWhen I started my first favorite disc was a champ leopard. I eventually tried to replace it but never found another that stayed as torque resistant for as long so I lucked out on a very good run with that one. Same story with a champ roadrunner after that. There are some sneaky great runs of those two.
ОтветитьMy buddy and I won a c tier doubles tournament this year and I contribute it to his putting and my Essence and Athena. Never discount the importance of fairway drivers. Especially on wooded courses.
ОтветитьMy first discs where a Latitude Macana, a Latitude SaintPro and a Discmania Fever ❤. After about 2 months i added a Latitude River and a MVP fission Reactor. My first Distance Driver was a Latitude Grace after about 7 months of playin.
You might like the River in base plastic (retro), its quite streight when new but beats in quickly and its glidey 😉
Tfs❤
ОтветитьPlease add a shot tracker. I couldn't see your throws
ОтветитьI prefer a Leopard3 but I like the original too 😂 Love the TL3 too!
ОтветитьYou gotta try the mvp virus
ОтветитьI got a 2x Barry champion Leopard years and years ago when I lost my CE Leopard. I still bag that thing and it's been probably twenty years now. Great disc!
ОтветитьAlways let the disc do the work for you
ОтветитьAnother good one is the older champ eagle L , I love carving up NC woods with them
Ответитьagain, wtf is up with your camera?! at the 3min mark it's impossible to see the Leopard fly. it's just lost.
ОтветитьMy go-to straight fairway is an Eagle-L that I got about two years ago from the Innova factory store. It’s less stable than the other Eagle-L/Exodus that I’ve thrown. Also, I recommend checking out a Millennium JLS in the Star-type plastic. My longest throw ever is a JLS 555ft off 25ft tee elevation. JLS = Just Long & Straight.
ОтветитьMillennium Vela is a woods hyzerflip wonder.
ОтветитьThe LT3 on a high turn over is amazing!
ОтветитьChamp leopard vs river? River nose up = super overstable. River nose down = super flippy. Net unreliable. Leopard will never go right unless a terrible throw. Always straight to little fade. Very reliable.
ОтветитьI have a 2013 Ace Race Proto Mantis too and it flies pretty similar to my Teebird and Athena. I hear the stock run is supposed to fly more true to the 8/4/-2/2 that it's supposed to be.
Ответитьtry a prodigy f5
ОтветитьLess stable than leopard? Get you a diamond.
I have a leopard3 and a diamond. Leopard3 will generally fight out of a turnover. Diamond usually wont
My next purchase will be a teebird.
Then I'll have a trinity of fairways for every shape I want
This year several things happened. I moved to less stable drivers which added me distance, i.e. Hades, Shryke. Then, started looking at rim widths and reducing molds. I had a Champ Leopard in my rack but never thrown, so I took that out to see what a 1.6 rim would do. Seemed to close to a mid-range, so why throw it. Well. 300ft dead straight with a slight fade and absolutely controllable. What? Why throw a Hades or a Shryke when a Leopard will do? The Stalker is also a 1.6 rim (surprise). For most park style course, playing a round with a Leopard or Stalker changes the game. At this point, I bag a Leopard, Leopard3, and Undertaker or Thunderbird. I do love the Mantis which is a 1.9 rim.
ОтветитьKastaplast Lots in K1 or K1 Hard is worth trying; it's labeled as a 9 speed but feels more like a 7/8 in the hand.
ОтветитьTL3 is the sleeper fairway from Innova for ams.
ОтветитьThe Ace Race Mantis is the original mold and is more stable. Alot of people preferred it because at the time Discraft didn't have a "Teebird" type disc.
ОтветитьThe TL3 is the most underrated disc in the Innova lineup.
I think due to the terrible name. People like actual words, not combinations of letters and numbers.
Please showcase the metal flake mamba
ОтветитьNot sure where this thing comes that AM's not throwing fairways? Maybe you're talking about beginners?
ОтветитьCant almost see nothing when the discs are flying...too much light on the sand area.
ОтветитьWhy does nobody ever mention how good the fd is? Especially the s-line runs are so straight to understable
ОтветитьI never seemed to have good luck with my champion Leopard. The dang thing would always turn over on me. I prefer my Gold River, goes exactly where I want it.
on another note, I have a personal question for everyone? Do you naturally throw your disc where it goes the same distance every time, or do you force your disc to go a slight bit further distance to try & reach a certain spot on the fairway.
Metal Flake FD or nothing
ОтветитьI have an old z xs and a z x-press just lime your xs. I bought them somewhere between 1998 and 2002. I never used them much but mostly because of how slick they are.
ОтветитьTl3s are my go to for almost anything 😂 I also took a different approach to learning the game by starting with putters only and slowly moving my speeds up as I gain distance. I got my Tl3s to 350 consistently now because of it and I won’t start discing up until I feel like I’m not muscling through and keeping it smooth.
ОтветитьFor am arms a TL is the seasoned money teebird that pros talk about having in their bag.
ОтветитьI figured your crave would cover this shot.
