Dude you're definitely a filmmaker though. Your work is sick, and your neuroses are within the minds of us all. We're all being tugged one way into the world of social and simultaneously pulled by our primal desire to make "art" and do something deeper. Anyway, good shit this was beautifully shot and a great piece!
ОтветитьYour cat is cute
ОтветитьThis was sick! Definitely was engaged the entire time🔥🔥
ОтветитьLmao. This was great! Absolutely resonates. Side note - I too have a “pookie”…. That’s probably the first time I’ve seen it not attached to my wife besides New Jack City.
ОтветитьBeautiful, mindful work Matt. Everything in here resonates with me (esp. the party chat scene 😅), I love the direction you're taking this channel - we need more original work on here and we need to support it.
I truly believe the sentiment you're pushing - just gotta go out and make stuff, you can't obsess about what everyone else thinks, can't wait around for that dream job to come. Bravo.
I loved when Daniel popped up lol. Yea I've def learned this. We all just care to much what others think. Follow your curiosity and see where it leads you. And it will never stop leading you. Love you.
ОтветитьVery nicely done, dude! Love that final shot/ sequence on the skateboard
Ответитьamazing film brother, this is so relatable to many of us filmmakers out there. When in doubt, keep creating.
ОтветитьIncredible!
ОтветитьI was surprised by the complexity of the storytelling in this, I was expecting something more on the nose or cliche, but your interweaving stories, flashbacks, inner monologue, great sound design deadset gave me the vibe of watching a really well made movie. I thoroughly enjoyed watching, thanks for posting mate <3
ОтветитьLet’s go dude! Well done my friend
ОтветитьI have a lot of time for this lol. Worryingly relatable!
Ответитьvery Noah Baumbach !!! loved it !!!
ОтветитьWonderful piece of work buddy!
ОтветитьLoved the “so what do you do?” Scene 😂 great job man
ОтветитьRelatable! Great work man
ОтветитьWelp. I guess I'll go find somewhere silently to cry out loud now. That was beautiful, but painfully releatable.
ОтветитьNice one dude!
ОтветитьBeautifully written
ОтветитьGreat video, Matt. Very vulnerable and real. From one Toronto filmmaker to another, I think your work is pretty great.
ОтветитьAbsolutely amazing❤

ОтветитьThis may be the most relatable piece of work I've seen. Great stuff, man!
Ответитьfreaking amazing dude. I have the SAME inner monologue! but switch posting internet videos to getting gigs for corporate videos. I related so hard to this, you have no idea. Incredibly done.
ОтветитьDr. Schiffer LOL! That's great!
Excellent short film. Keep going! Follow the doctor's orders.
only thing i would critique is the sound. otherwise its great
ОтветитьThis is fantastic! 👌🏼 100% relatable
Ответитьbro it took me a couple shots to realize that was actually Daniel Schiffer. I was like "huh that guy sounds a lot like daniel schiffer..."

ОтветитьThis is the realest thing ever bro. Thank you for making this Matt ;0 🙏
ОтветитьI loved what you did here! Its always a dilemma, not an easy topic to actually talk about. Thank you for inviting us into that personal journey of yours. We appreciate it.
ОтветитьBig fuck you to the negative inner thoughts. I feel that bro 👊🏿
