Unlimited Retake Policy Pushing Teachers Out of the Classroom in the U.S.

One of the reasons why I quit teaching was due to the infamous "mastery-based grading" AKA unlimited retakes. This is not an exclusive policy at my previous school site. Many schools in the U.S. have adopted this retake policies. What are your thoughts?
