Body found on roof top of McDonald’s, East 149th st and Morris Ave The Bronx . July 15, 2020

On Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at approximately 0557 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an unconscious person on the roof of the McDonald's restaurant located at 279 East 149 Street, within the confines of the 40 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male, unconscious and unresponsive, wrapped within a plastic bag. EMS also responded to the location and pronounced the individual deceased at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing and the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
