iPhone 15 looks better in low light pocket 3 really isn't a low light camera it's good but not really on the level that you need

In the blind test, Camera B (iPhone) has destroyed Camera A (OSMO) right away for me in all shots. Plus, the iPhone has 2 more lens, a lot of other valuable functions, and it's always with you. I hate Apple, but they way they manage video recording is incredible. Just use BMC at all times to record.

After a long time I watched a whole video without skipping a single second. On point practical comparison. Not reading spec sheet in the name of product review. I'm convinced I need an OP3 now.😀

Great insight. I really appreciate that realistic review. Didn't seem forced or hyped, just honest. I've purchased the OP3 (I cant wait to get it tomorrow). This video made me feel better about not using a device I have every day vs. an external one.

I'm just an average person, but I don't understand these videos, seriously. Pocket 3 vs Iphone 15 pro?? Why? Are we comparing a $600 camera to a $1,400 phone with a normal gimbal for another $150-200? If the Apple 15 pro is better in any way, don't the testers feel like they are comparing apples to pears? With a gimbal, the Apple product is 2x the price, it is not realistic to compare them. And I think the average person cares whether the price of a camera is $600 or $1600, so in that respect the two products are not competitors.

DJI Osmo Pocket 3 - very underrated camera...

I can see the steps when walking with the iphone. The stabilization is so much better on the osmo pocket 3 it's insane. The motion lapse feature on the osmo pocket 3 creates possibilities that could not be done a mobile phone. The gimbal also allows you to stick the osmo pocket 3 in the best camera positions using velcro or suction cups for things like live performances because the gimbal can be remotely controlled. Look for the camera car videos using the osmo pocket 3, who needs a crane car anymore. The osmo pocket 3 is surprisingly tough as well. I've dropped it shooting ground level from a electric skateboard at 35 mphs, dropped it riding a one wheel at 12 miles an hour. The doctor thought I cracked my ribs on the skateboard drop. The best part, vs every other gimbal I own, is that the case can be slipped on and you can slip it into any pocket. You could have the greatest camera in the universe but if you don't have it with you, whats the point.

Thank you, this was such a great comparison! I have to say, what I enjoy about having a dedicated camera is the pure fun of it. It's a tiny camera with an amazing gimbal on it. It's just such a fun experience to click on the buttons, it feels more tactile and interesting than another function on flat skinny iphone screen. :)

Thinking about getting iPhone14 Pro Max when the new iphone 16 comes out so it's cheaper and than buying that Osmo Pocket 3. I just film Salsa dancing more than anything else.

i already have gh5 and not sure if i should get op3 because dont want everyone looking when holding a giant camera in my face. only issue for me with pocket is how wide the lens is. i wish it was 24mm

The Negative Crop in action mode is because the 15 pro switches to the Ultrawide Sensor and then crops in, allowing the camera to move more while still keeping the subject in frame. The Resolution drop is the result of the crop in on the Ultrawide.

By the way, you can adjust your exposure in the default iPhone camera app by tapping on the screen and then swiping up or down to adjust it. It doesn't allow very fine control, but it is possible.
