Still unsure if that's really a fact you can eliminate the other numbers in the same group or not. Couldn't the 2 still possibly be in the other 2 spots?
ОтветитьTop class, thank you
ОтветитьI still can't understand why you choose the 2's in the beginning as there are also, 6s 7s 8s
Ответитьwhat does 2x2 stand for? And why is the rectangle 4x3 is called so?
ОтветитьSorry, I don't understand why we would call an area of 4 squares by 3 a "2x2 rectangle" and if it really was 2x2 then wouldn't it be a square?
Asking for clarification because I can see lots of potential candidate configurations, but they can't all be usable. Thanks in advance.
Why did you pick number 2 and not 6,7 or 8? Number 4 and not 5, 6, 7 or 8?
ОтветитьCan someone explain why the twos in column 8 and 9 wouldn't be a possibility?
ОтветитьEverytime I use this I get a mistake.
Still no clue.
Why are you calling it a 2 x 2
ОтветитьWhy do you say it is a 2x2 retangle? The first example with the 4s is three rows by four columns. So is the second example with the 2s. Does the size of the retangle even matter?
ОтветитьI'll have to come back to this one. I still don't get it.
ОтветитьThank you - this was the first explanation that made sense to me.
ОтветитьHello, I applied it in a an expert sudoku and it didn’t work
ОтветитьThe clearest explanation I’ve heard of the X-wing. Thank you m
ОтветитьFinally an explanation that makes sense!!! Bless you.
ОтветитьIt’s not a 2x2 rectangle, that would be a square
ОтветитьI finally get it, thank you for this!!
ОтветитьWhy did you eliminate those 2 ? Why should we keep 2 from A7 and not from A8 and C9 column? For me has no logic. Sorry It would be al right if we eliminated all 2 from column 4 and 7. But in this situation 2 can be in A7 and A 8 50 % 50% and the same C and C9.
ОтветитьGreat video, super easy to understand. Thank you!
Ответитьwow thank you for this !!!!
Ответитьidk if im just stupid but i dont get how it can't be any of the other 2s, like c9. If a4 is a two, that doesnt say anything about it being definitely c7, it just means that its c because it eliminates any a.
ОтветитьExcellent explanation.
ОтветитьBest explanation ever.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE EXPLANATION, THIS WILL HELP ME SO MUCH
Ответитьa little bit time comsuming
ОтветитьWill u solve my puzzle which I was stuck, all repeated numbers can't be filled, will u
Ответить431 Kuhn Inlet
ОтветитьVery good. Others couldnt explain this to me.
ОтветитьNatural teacher!!
Ответитьgave very bad examples of x-wing. Provided wrong explanation of why the 2 in column 8 and column 9 should not be present. Correct explanation is that in column 7 the 2 can only come in row A and row C, thus removing other possibilities for that box.
ОтветитьThanks for the tutorial!
ОтветитьLet me try this.
ОтветитьI dont get it.. let say if A4 is not 2 why can't A8 be 2 and similarly if C4 not is 2 why can't c9 be 2
Ответитьi didnt understand at all ....could have been easier if she had filled in
ОтветитьThe 4s example is bad because you could eliminate those same 4s without using the x wing….
ОтветитьWhat about the 678
ОтветитьN'importe quoi
ОтветитьBut how do you know which number you have to pick in the x wing.
Because there are 4 numbers 4, but also 4 numbers 7 and 4 numbers 8 in the same spot. 🤔
Poor example... The first example is false, due to the "2" that is displayed in A8. This "2" in A8 SHOULD NOT BE THERE, hence the X-wing works. The explanation for removing the "2" in A8 is because in columns 8 and 9, the "2" can only go on the right hand side of the 3x3's, hence the "2" in the top right hand quandrant, must be in the left hand column, column "7". The second explanation for the "4"'s works better.
ОтветитьThank you mam you make easy to me to solve suduku extreme level ❤
ОтветитьIf I am correct, the puzzle misses both 6s and 8s.
ОтветитьThat explanation doesn't make sense. There are potential 2s in other columns. I see nothing her that rules out column 8 row 1 being a 2.
ОтветитьShe should not have said "a 2 by 2 rectangle", just "a rectangle". Ignore ‘2x2’ and all the comments/questions it generated.
Ответить"2x2" was an unfortunate mis-speak. X-wing is just finding any digit that occurs at all four intersections of any two rows and any two columns and the digit appears exactly twice in either the rows or columns. All occurrences of that digit in those two rows and two columns outside of those four intersections can be eliminated.
ОтветитьIf column 4 row 1 is 2, how does that restrict the row 3 2 to bing the one in column 7? There's a 2 in in column 9 it could be just as easily. This doesn't make sense.
ОтветитьThis didn’t work for me.
ОтветитьDo x-wings always have to be a 4x3 rectangle?
ОтветитьGreat, you repeated yourself about 10 times (maybe I exaggerate), but you offer no solution for the x-wing(s). Do you have a video by which you provide instruction HOW to solve those?
Ответить
