I just started crocheting around a month ago and I have been watching these videos to get myself excited to finish my first blanket. I learned the single, double, treble, slip stitch, and popcorn stitch for my daisy blanket and I am so excited about it. I am making it for my dorm room as a personal handmade thing for my dorm. It'll be a sea green color with daisies all over it. I've estimated that I have to make 391 squares and so far I have made 15 so I hope I get it done in time!! Loved the video! Your blanket is gorgeous!!

I lout squares just once on the floor or dining table and take a photo with my phone when I’m happy with the lay out. And then sit on couch and refer to my photo for position of squares.

No one will even notice; they will just notice how gorgeous it is! I am working on finishing my reading journal afghan now. I crochet a row for every book I’ve read based on the star rating. The color probably isn't different. You just got a different dye lot number. Each color is dyed and sometimes comes out a bit different so look at the dye lot number when you buy yarn and make sure they are made in the same lot.

the white yarns look slightly different when you hold both the skeins up together but you can't see the difference at all in the actual blanket, i love the finished product!!
