I purchased a gelli plate a couple years ago, kept it stored in it's package. It seems to have shrunk in size. Is this bad? Is there a way to prevent this?
ОтветитьLoved the video very helpful thanks
ОтветитьCan I use polymer clay with a gelli plate
ОтветитьI bought a gelly plate and had trouble with it dented with bubbles through the planet . I was refused money back. I then googled on how to salvage this mess an one of the tips was placing the plate on a sheet of paper overnight, the next morning I checked the paper sucked all the oils from the plate. I as one can imagine was devastated. Just saying
Ответитьme encanta, se ve superdivertido
ОтветитьEnjoyed the video, very informative, just purchased a plate, looking forward to many creative moments. Have watched numerous videos by many and this product really gives its worth!
ОтветитьThis is just too cool!!

ОтветитьOn your website it says your geli plate does not contain animal derived byproducts and I want to be sure that they do not before I buy one,so can you tell me if you use gelatin? and if so what is the gelatin or thickener derived from? thanks.
ОтветитьHow cool! I saw this used in a cardmaking video by Shari Carroll and now must get one!! :)
ОтветитьYou can make these gelli plates with Knox unflavoured gelatine, glycerine and water. A lot cheaper than buying them!
ОтветитьThank You for sharing this GR8 VIDEO with us. I can't wait to get started an play with my new toy. lol. BTW: Ur work of art is FABULOUS. KEEP UP THE GOOD WRK.
Ответитьvery good
ОтветитьThanks for the question! Rubber stamps can be used in creating imagery in the Gelli plate. Be sure not to let the paint dry on your stamps — wash them right away. Bold images are best (fine lines may not show up). Happy printing!
ОтветитьInstead of using paper, can I just flip the plate over after applying paint to it and creating a design on it and press it against a canvas to transfer the image to it instead?
Ответить@beadsfromlijang Thanks! Glad you like :)
Ответить@mjkmoore Hi Marie - sorry for the late reply! Each print with the printing plate will be unique - everyone an 'original'. You can duplicate them elsewhere but not on the plate itself. That said, many folks made their holiday cards using the plates and a similar approach so they followed a theme but all recipients got 'unique' cards. Check out the facebook page to see what others have created .... or the blog... both full of great tutorials.
Ответить@Nicoleclog On our website - that's the easiest place to buy one :) Can't post the url... but it's easy to find.... GELLIARTS. Good luck!

Ответить@Blissfulthings Thanks for the note! We recommend all kinds of acrylic paints. Golden Open Acrylic Paints are artist grade paints that work exceptionally well with the Gelli plate. Visit our website for more information...
ОтветитьCan you use water based and oil based printing inks on this or just cheap craft paints that are not artist grade I would hate to make prints that won't last because of crap paint
ОтветитьI will have to get one of those plates!
ОтветитьI love this...where can we buy it = )
ОтветитьI am fascinated by your Gel printing plate. It reminds me of the mimeographed coloring sheets our teachers gave us in grade school in the 1950's. Can you reprint your creations on the gel printing plate. For instance can you make a set of cards with it? Marie Moore
