Just watched this today Sunday, 2/4/2024 Philippines.
McDonald's may not have become a world wide enterprise as we know it. If Ray Kroc was never let into the Business by the McDonald brothers.
I may not have tried McDonald's here in PH if not for Ray.
Learned so much from this movie. I wish to have my own business one day and buy my mother a house and send my nieces to school.

People who think that the McDonald brothers were the victims of a greedy Ray Kroc are people who probably work 9-5 and think it's a wonderful way to live. Clueless.

The title of the movie was as misleading as the main character, since he didn't found it, he stole it! It would have been a good ending if he had AT LEAST had the decency to honor his handshake deal with the MacBrothers (and how they would EVER agree to a HANDSHAKE DEAL when they knew the guy was a wolf, I will never understand).

Moral of the story:

NEVER AGREE TO A HANDSHAKE DEAL WHEN LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY ARE INVOLVED!

I love this film! Fantastic! After watching this film I never looked at McDonald's the same way ever again! I always thought the person who created McDonald's Corporation was a man with the surname McDonald, not Kroc! Haha. Personally, I believe that San Bernardino is the birthplace of McDonald's.

After Watching this movie.... A simple no for McDonald's for me....I will never eat McDonalds from now on....🤐

The brother were not hungry to grow, if they would have went with the flow they would have been good. Kroc did a lot of the work to grow the business. People don't understand how much it takes to open up a location. If you don't compete with others, you will be eaten lol.

I never cared for McDonald's product, but man did this movie make me feel bad for the brothers. The really just want to keep it small.

It was the brothers' own decision to sell, nobody forced them to. It was such a large sum of money at the time, considering their circumstances. If McDonald's had gone bankrupt, they would have been very happy that they sold it for such a massive amount and would have said they'd dodged a bullet. Mr. Kroc was an amazing businessman, who won fair and square.

Ray Kroc went to my high school (Oak Park and River Forest High School) generations before me. His picture is up on the wall of famous alumns, which includes scientists, politicians, award-winning actors and writers. Kind of funny he was a dropout who never graduated.
